Birds love this feed
This is by far the best feed I have used yet. I won't use anything rlse. I used to use the sunflower seeds in the shells which were good too except for the mess afterwards that I needed to sweep up. This all gets eaten with no mess to clean up. Even the seeds that fall to ground gets eaten by the ground feeding birds. The birds go nuts over this feed. I've attracted many varieties of birds now too including House finches, Goldfinches, Dark eyes Juncos, California Towhees, Oak Titmouses, White breasted Nuthatches, and even California Scrub Jays stop by every few days to rock the feeder. I've never had so many birds come all at once like this too. At least 3 times per day there are no less than a dozen to 15 birds taking turns at feeder or on the ground. Other birds have gone by too but at least frequent intervals than the above like Mourning Doves, Beswick Wrens and a Robin or two. I now have this seed on Auto-order refill every two months.

Good seeds, good price
Birds love these Sunflower seeds; and there's very little waste. And the price is better here, than in the hardware store where I usually buy seeds. (be careful to buy Sunflower, not Safflower; birds hated those)

Really great for bird feeders!
I have a standing order for the sunflower seeds. They fit perfectly in my Brome Squirrel Buster feeder. Quality has been consistent and when the feeder gets low the birds start looking in the window so I know they love it.

“Feathered Guests and the Quiet Joy of Seeds”
There is a kind of peace that settles over a garden when birds arrive—not in flocks, but in pairs and singles, like old friends stopping by for tea. They do not knock, nor do they announce themselves. They simply appear, drawn by something unseen, and in their arrival, the world feels momentarily more complete. That peace has become a daily rhythm since I began placing Morning Song Sunflower Hearts & Chips in the feeder. The seeds—clean, golden, and shell-free—rest like small offerings in the tray, waiting for the morning light and the flutter of wings. There is no mess, no scattered husks to sweep away. Only the soft sound of beaks tapping and the occasional chirp of satisfaction. The bag itself is generous, yet manageable. At 5.5 pounds, it fits easily into my storage tin, and the seeds remain fresh with each refill. I’ve noticed a variety of visitors—chickadees, finches, titmice, and even the occasional cardinal—each drawn not by novelty, but by something familiar and nourishing. They linger longer now, as if the food speaks to them in a language older than hunger. There is something quietly noble about feeding birds. It asks for no recognition, offers no reward beyond the joy of watching life unfold just beyond the windowpane. And in that simplicity, I’ve found a kind of companionship. The birds do not know my name, nor I theirs, but we share something—a trust, perhaps, or a mutual appreciation for the morning. The seeds themselves are chipped and shelled, a thoughtful preparation that spares the birds effort and spares me cleanup. It’s a small detail, but one that speaks of care. And though the label says “no mess,” what it truly offers is clarity—a feeding space that remains as tidy as the intentions behind it. Each day, I refill the feeder. Each day, they return. And in that quiet exchange, I’ve come to cherish the stillness between wingbeats, the hush of seed and sky, and the gentle reminder that joy often arrives in the smallest of packages.
