Sharpie tends to bleed and it’s a little hard to read. Not sure what would be better to use but I don’t recommend using sharpie. The back does come with something to hang this on a wall so the only option is to stand it up. You could probably add something on yourself though. I like that you’re able to open the entire back and place the raindrops where you want after the fact because some tend to lay on top of each other when you drop them in

Fantastic alternative to traditional guest book
Loved everything about this guest book. I did have to order additional wooden hearts because it only comes with 30 pieces. Depending on the size of your party, keep that in mind. With that being said I had no problem ordering more. I could not find any wooden hearts in the same finish, size and texture locally. I’m glad I ordered extra.
