how many pages will this 2x cartridge print

I don't know how many pages it will print, but I do know that it is substantially more than the regular HP950 cartridge. It is worth the price. The cost per printed page is much lower with the XL. I only buy the HP950XL in black and the regular HP951 color cartridges since I normally print in black. If you print a lot in color, the HP951XL color cartridges should be your choice.

Will this work with HP Office JetPro 8610?

NO! It will not work. HP sent through a firmware update in 2017. It's purpose was to deny use of third-party cartridges. It had the opposite effect. It rendered all of the current stock of 950 XL Black and 951 XL color HP cartridges in incompatible with the 8600 series printers. Check recent feedback before buying, you will see this is true! I have tried seven different cartridges, four blacks, and three color. All have the Z10 added to the product code. These cartridges simply do not work, and HP tech support will advise you it is time to buy a new printer! What does work in these older machines are cartridges refilled by a local Ink reseller. Save yourself time and hassle, it took me five hours with tech-support and one month to determine that HP simply wants to sell you a new printer!

what does the z10 on the package signify ?

The ink cartridges with the Z10 code have a new chip. They do not work in the 8600 printers, and based on other recent reviews they are incompatible with the entire 8600 SERIES of printers. Don't waste your time, these cartridges do not work. HP sent through a firmware update in 2017. It's purpose was to deny use of third-party cartridges. It had the opposite effect. It rendered all of the current stock of 950 XL Black and 951 XL color HP cartridges in incompatible with the 8600 series printers. Late in 2017 they sent through a firmware update that was supposed to cure the problem. It did not. There was also a patch issued by HP, but HP did not push the patch through to your printer. So these cartridges still do not work. Check recent feedback before buying, you will see this is true! I have tried seven different cartridges, four blacks, and three color. Four of those inks came direct from HP store, not Amazon. HP tried to tell me that Amazon sells old and defective cartridges in an effort to get me to buy direct from HP. This turned out to be a lie. All of the new ink cartridges have the Z10 product code. Look at the photos and you'll see that the current stock of Amazon HP 950 XL Black inks and 951 XL color ink cartridges all have the Z10 code. These cartridges simply do not work, and HP tech support will advise you it is time to buy a new printer! Surprisingly enough, what does work in these older machines are HP cartridges refilled by a local Ink reseller! They also cost less! I've been printing for 13 years and this is the first time I have ever use generic ink, but I have no choice as all HP ink cartridges have failed. Save yourself time and hassle, it took me five hours with tech-support and one month to determine that HP simply wants to sell you a new printer! They refunded my money, do not want their brand new cartridges returned, and sent me a $125 gift coupon code to use to buy a new printer! That was their solution. Disgusted!

what is the yield of this 2x cartridge

It depends on what you are printing. It is twice the ink as the standard cartridge, so it will last you twice as long. ;-)

Poor quality of carton and warranty was out of date 2023/02 Could not send back as ink was required to finish. Otherwise I would returned for refund or replacement. Standards seems to be dropping.

Good. Original but mega expensive

How HP can charge so much for an ink cartridge is beyond me, but my HP printer sees to know if I don't use an original and tends to play up. Good money maker for HP.......it's just printer ink after all! ........and I return the empty one's for recycling. Wonder where they go? ......

Old date covered by sticker

Bought in December 2023 & fitted in 2024 - on opening box found cartridge dated 'Use by' Apr 2020. Date on box had been covered by a bar code sticker. Not "new" at all despite description & price.

It is not new though i Ordered new Cartridge highlights warranty ends 2016/12 Product of Malaysia the box seems old Highly disappointed to receive used item when ordered new

Ich habe mir für ein Drittel des Preises billige Patronen gekauft. Erst war ich überzeugt. Nach einer Zeit war das nur noch ein reines Geschmiere. Jetzt mit diesen Originalen Tinenpatronen ist das ein ganz anderes Druckergebniss.
