Very helpful for domestic use
Received the product today. File transfer is fast. The SSD is small and lightweight. The available space is 111 GB.Very useful for ordinary domestic and personal educational use.

Very useful and fast for copying big movies from mobile and other devices
I bought this to move movies which are downloaded in my mobile. I tested with a samsung galaxy J1 and onleplus x and both worked fine. I used an OTG adapter to connect the USB-A cable. So it works like an OTG drve for mobile. When I checked on a Lenovo mobile, had frequent disconnect. Not sure if it is due to faulty usb port in mobile. Also I checked in a tablet having usb-c port and it is lightning fast. I assume it supports all latest mobiles having usb-c port. Since it is having usb-c cable, no need for adapter. The only cons I see is the long cables used to connect. Could be smaller. Another is it will heat up quickly. I watched movies from the disk on TV and didn't found any issue due to overheat or something.

Transcend portable SSD 480GB is very good item to purchase. It is made in Taiwan. Made of Aluminium casing which is light weight. Packing is also very good.

Dont expect very smooth and fast performance. Sleek in design and highly portable. Definitely overpriced.

Don't Buy
3 Months after buying, videos getting stucked while playing in this Transcend Storage Device. So Basically it's a failure model.

Superb Pi4 storage
I've migrated from microsd to an external usb based storage.
