This brush is phenomenal. Made in Germany, the quality is exceptional. True boar hair with Olive wood handle. This brush provides various heights of boar bristles and feels wonderful with each stroke. Just for noting, I have owned numerous boar hair brushes in the past, including 1, made in China, and no brush has exceeded the expectations as this brush has for me. I threw away every brush I after using this brush. Absolutely love this smart investment. A little pricey, some may say, however as an investment towards the care of your hair is a well worth reason to invest.

Perfect! Easy to clean, soft enough to smooth hair but coarse enough to detangle. Honestly, I prefer it over my mason Pearson!

Love this brush! The wood is very solid and feels comfortable in my hand. The bristles are firm enough to go easily through my hair, but soft enough not to scratch my head. I have very fine hair that is wavy and/or curly in places, and this brush works for both.

Finding a bristle brush that suits one is hard work these days. Suddenly, something only your hairdresser had is everywhere… This one is better than most, but I’m still looking. I have fine-ish, longish hair, medium thickness. The bristles are reasonably firm, but not quite firm enough for those who have used a bristle brush before. And probably too firm for those who haven’t. Bristle bunches are nicely spaced and, so far at least, there has hardly been any fallout. The brush handle has a nice heft to it yet is light enough not to tire you doing your nightly brush out. It’s very easy to clean and easy to hold. While the bristles are nicely spaced, there are too many of them in each bunch. What ends up happening in that situation is it’s more difficult than need be to get the brush through your hair. Or it’ll grab one or two strands and pull. Not every time, just the occasional reminder. The base could use a bit of curve. Overall, it’s a good brush. It’s very close to getting everything right (which is a little frustrating) and it’ll do until I find one I like as well as my old one. I know. It sounds very backhanded. It’s really not. When your hair gets longer washing less often is important, which makes your brush very important. This one is very close to being just right and I’m glad to have found it. Now I can take my time. My hair is shinier. The brush is comfortable to use with the contoured handle. My hair is on the longer side, about six inches below my shoulders, and this brush was surprisingly able to detangle without damaging or pulling the hair out. I have heard about the benefits of boar bristles for years, but never thought a hairbrush made that much difference. It does. I'm a fan. My former hairbrush is made of a high quality nylon bristle.

Wowza! This makes hair so shiny and smooth. Hair comes out flat. Men: My neighbor recommended it to help train my beard instead of beard oils, and it did a great job. It is a little abrasive on the face, but I like the exfoliation. When using on my hair, my hair comes out smooth and shiny. It does make my hair super flat and takes out volume. If you want some volume to cover your thinning hair, this might not be good. If you like your hair flat and close to your scalp, this is great.

This the 3rd hairbrush I bought on Amazon. I wanted a boar bristle hairbrush that is "FIRM." This is the 1st one I've found that is truly what the seller advertises. I was immediately impressed by the quality, firmness of bristles, nice feel of the wooden handle, ability of the bristles to go all the way down to the scalp . My hair isn't even thick...due to my old age it's quite thin, but another one purchased earlier was so soft, I thought it was appropriate only for small children. I love this new hairbrush.

Bought one of these almost ten years ago and it's lasted until now. The new one looks as good quality, so although costly it works out pretty well longer term. I've light flyaway hair and the new brush works it a treat, going straight to down your scalp, without scratching but getting the circulation going well, keeping your scalp nice and healthy. And can testify no frizz. Good stuff, thumbs up!
