Really awesome manga, not yaoi
I just want to say that I had no idea this was an omnibus edition, I thought it was a yaoi (hey that's Amazon's tags for you) and really didn't know what to expect. I also didn't know this was an anime (but am very pleased to find out it is!) Upon opening the package I was shocked at how large this manga was, I bought it for $12 so I just assumed it was a regular sized manga, didn't know the listing price was 18.99. I eagerly opened it up, and was sucked right in.Yuki has a power where he can see/feel what others are feeling or traumatic pasts. It is a bit debilitating, but he figures he can live with it and figure out what to do. He was orphaned at birth, and is honestly a genuinely good person. He reminds me of the Tohru from Fruits Basket, expect I find Yuki less annoying. He's so good and knows just what to say, that's where I drew the similarities from. Anyway he starts meeting these new people, and then suddenly he almost gets hit by a speeding car, these are just the beginnings for Yuki as he discovers he does have family, and is a part of something much bigger than he could ever imagine. The characters are all fantastic, for someone who isn't used to reading mangas, you might want to pay really close attention because some of the blonde characters are similar. However the artist was fantastic, and so detailed, I was really happy and am now looking to see if there's any more works by Hotaru Odagiri. I am very upset that I have to wait until December for the second volume to come out, but will be consoling myself with the anime.Ok now for the yaoi aspect, there really wasn't one. We get the feeling that Luka and Yuki were intimate in Yuki's past life, but Yuki was a girl, now as a boy there is a bit of affection and flirting, but nothing that would qualify it as a yaoi or even boy love territory. I have hopes, I mean remember Yellow didn't get anything until the fourth volume, but even if nothing comes of it, the plot is so fantastical that it would still make my top manga list. I highly recommend, and you can't beat Amazon's price. Enjoy!

Beautiful manga!!
Finally! I've been waiting for this manga for so long!First off, This is an Omnibus edition ie.2 volumes in one! and the size of the book is larger and thicker than the regular manga sizes (this is my first omnibus book)with a nice lovely cover and four color inserts. So worth the price!!I saw the anime first and reading the manga is so much better for me because the story is better developed and we see more into Luka's mysterious past. Plus the art is so beautiful!!!! Hotaru Odagiri's art never ceases to amaze me *___* the way she draws those characters is just stunning, smooth-clear lines and very attractive characters who don't look alike(that's very common in many mangakas...they tend to have look alike characters a lot~_~) she's the only one who can make me fall in love with a drawing lol the story is full of action, tender moments, friendship, strong bonds and it also deals a lot with the fear of being alone or losing that precious someone.I should also mention that I had a huge dislike for Yuki(the main character) in the anime but now that I finished reading my manga, I happily realized that i like Yuki! He's not that annoying, whining or miserable in the manga as he is in the anime. I could appreciate him for what he is: a gentle soul yet strong at the same time. I love all the characters, very unique in their own way, even the chef of the Twilight Hall and the Dr. pervert are very likeable hehe this manga can be very funny at times and very sad too.Even though this is a shoujo manga, for yaoi fans, the BL hints are marvelous but never crossing the line. All in all, I'm quite content with the friendship and heart warming feelings that this manga evokes among its characters. Can't wait for the next release, a nice manga in my collection indeed!

Well worth it! :)
Absolutely love it! This series is great and the characters are hard not to like even the antagonists. The story is very unique and indeed heart wrenching at times. But I find it impossible not to love this series. I especially love how innocent and weak the main character is portrayed because then it gives him room to mature into a greater character. I bought a used copy of the book and while worn out quite a bit it does not disappoint plus for the price it is well worth it. I'd say that my copy was very well-loved and will continue to be. In my own opinion the wear and tear gives the book some character. While I prefer to get books brand new I had to admit that I instantly fell in love with it when I received it in the mail. One thing I found quite surprising was the thickness of it. I assumed it would be smaller but it wasn't which made me like it even more. So if you are thinking of purchasing the first volume in this series I would definitely recommend it. Maybe go for a used copy because the new ones can get quite expensive.

Awesome art and story.
I saw the anime and loved it so decided to check out the manga. This is a gorgeous book. There are several colored art pages at the beginning of the book that are awesome. Not only is it two volumes in one making it thicker and totally worth the price, it's also larger overall. I wish all manga were this large. The art is so pretty I'm glad to have the longer, wider pages to enjoy it. The anime runs through the first 2 volumes but volumes 3 and 4 are available for preorder and I can't wait to read what happens.Buyer beware: this is definitely a pretty boys comic, but not a boys love comic at least so far, but there's action, betrayal and lots of confusing emotions which makes for a fun read.
