After reading the reviews, I was not expecting the seeds to germinate quickly but they did! I was pleasantly surprised to see some short green grass in less than 2weeks! I suppose the rainy weather in October helped a lot and maybe the top soil we used was good too (used Verve peat free top soil). Look forward to seeing a green thick lawn in the very near future. My only negative comment is that not all seeds germinated, so there are some bald patches...

I used this for a family grave and put it on mid- October , and despite the cool weather , it’s grown well !

i got the most miniscule amount of growth from this which is really surprising as have always trusted this brand. Disappointing.

Worked somewhat. Difficult garden but used these with a mix of several other seeds and had a great result after years of trying different seeds.

Despite all the preparation and careful watering, these seeds did not germinate. Absolutely nothing! Planted in front and back garden and neither has taken. What a waste of money and frustrating because of the hours of effort and preparation to get the conditions right for sowing. Grr.

Best seed you will ever buy. placed under a tree and grew so tight and lush, the best in all my 30 years of lawn care. Spread all over now overseeding and bought more. Will use on front full sun lawn soon too. THE BEST EVER a beautiful green tight lush grass. Little but of seaweed and epsom salts and all seed must have germinated.
