Thule Atmos X3 TAGE-3162 Galaxy S5 Case, Blue/Dark Shadow

Has survived many falls and my phone is as good as new.

very solid case ,hard to get on and off but i guess that's a good thing. The buttons are very accessible and holding the case in the palm feels right. Great price and value.

I am on my 2nd case, which now has the same defect as the first case that I sent back to Amazon after my initial purchase. This case has a rubber ring around the open face of the case that has a propensity to detach from the case itself. Whatever adhesive they chose to bind the softer rubber with the harder blue plastic is not strong enough, as this defect has shown up on both cases. The gray ring connects to the wing like inserts on the back of the case, so once the defect starts, there is nothing that can be done to salvage the case without it looking terrible. It's really a shame, because this is a sharp looking case that combines solid protection from drops without adding too much bulk to the phone when it's in your pocket. I really like the looks of Thule's products, but this particular case is just not designed to last in the real world at all.
