Waterproof Bed

We purchased this bed to fit in a smaller, plastic dog crate that we use in our motorhome. The bed fits exactly as noted, it covers the bottom of the box perfectly and provides a great bed for our dog. The bed is highly durable, this is actually our second of these beds, and we have been very happy with its durability. The bed after extensive use, still has a soft feel to it with no holes or issues, even with a dog who likes to scratch. The brown colored cover hides a lot of dirt and has not faded with washings. Overall, we have not been disappointed in the quality of this bed.

My beagle likes this bed and it's very soft, even puffier after laundering. It's well made however there are tiny non-skid beads on the bottom which don't really grip the plastic tray in the bottom of her sleeping crate. Unfortunately when I washed the bed most of the beads came off in the washer. They're small, maybe 1 mm in size, so I was able to shake them out of the bed and her towel. There are still dozens in the washing machine that will eventually end up on future laundry until they're gone, so I'll be shaking everything for a while.

I bought this for my dog kennel when traveling so he wouldn’t be sitting on nothing. Colors good and looks and feels great. Really easy to put inside the kennel. Thick enough to be a decent cushion for him. Good price for what I needed.

This is a wonderful pet bed/pad. Whether you need one for the dog house, to line the cat kennel or just to place it on their favorite resting spot on the floor, this is the one! Love the quality and so does my cat. You can tell they enjoy the comfort & the warmth it offers. It's plush, plus it stays dry even when they have an accident and it's easy maintenance. Lightly brush it to remove the pet hair and throw it in the washing machine (gentle cycle/cold water) and let it dry outside. I bring it in and toss it in the dryer on "Cool Air" or "Low" temperature setting for 5 minutes and it's good as new.

EDIT: He had an accident and after washing the bed it still smells like urine and I can see a small hole in the top layer which is disappointing. Adjusting my review to 3 stars. The tiny hole bothers me less than the smell it seems to be retaining. Also I wouldn't call this waterproof- it definitely leaked through to the bottom of the crate and had to be cleaned up. I'd adjust it lower but he does really think it's comfortable and I am going to continue to use it - after another wash and patching up that hole myself. Our 9 year old dachsund is extremely sensitive about hard surfaces, so he complained very loudly when it was time to be crated at night. We used to put a towel or blanket in with him but if he had an accident he'd fold it all up together and it was a nightmare to clean. This bed has been working really well for us. No accidents so far but I can tell this is durable and will hold up well when we wash it. The best part is how much he seems to like it. He used to hide at bedtime when it was time to go in the crate, but now when he sees the bed in there he jumps in no problem. He doesn't whine anymore at night and I feel a lot better having a solution that's comfortable for him and still allows us to keep him up safely at night when he can't be supervised.

Genial! A mis perritas les encantaron. El tamaño es ideal para una Kennel grande. Súper acolchonada. Un poco difícil de lavar a mano, pero muy bien en la lavadora. Al mes y medio se le empezó a hacer un mini hoyito (quizás una uña lo perforó o un dientito jaja) pero en general es resistente.

I purchase the 24” and it fit perfectly in my 24x18x20 inch crate! Great size for a small breed dog (I have a Pomeranian puppy on the way). This product is folded in the package so you may have to ruffle the middle section to make sure the stuffing isn’t empty in the Center. No complaints on the pricing, but please be careful if your puppy or dog is the type to bite. The stuffing inside is cheap material and the stitching is not reinforced. Perfect for a dog who isn’t too rough!
