Works great, easy application, looks awesome
I could not find this color at any price f the big box stores or local hardware store for some reason. Found on amazon and ordered. I use it to dress up my mahogany entry door. I just apply it with a staining pad. It takes less than 15-20 minutes to give it a good cost and it looks great again. Thinner than paint so using a pad helps abound runs. But if it does run you just wipe it out since it isn’t paint. The wood soaks it in. Have used for years.

Great Product
It is easy to use and very forgiving. Protects the wood and adds some color. Dries quickly.

Love the natural product, jury is still out on Cherry
I love Watco Danish oil - the clear/natural product is my finish of choice for a lot of projects that don't need a water proof finish. I love it on Oak and Maple. I thought I'd try a couple other colors so purchased this cherry color and the black walnut. I haven't tried the latter but I tried this one on maple. To be fair, maple probably isn't the right thing to put it on but I wanted to see the color clearly. On maple, this is a very unattractive reddish color. If that were the intended use, I'd give it 3 stars, but it's probably best on - well, cherry. I'll try that out and update the review if the results warrant it. I'm going to try it out on white and red oak as well. I recognize that this isn't primarily a stain and perhaps it's best to stick with the natural - but since it's offered in multiple colors, I wanted to see if I could get some low key coloring without the extra hassle of a separate stain.

Works a treat!
This stuff is magic! I had some damage to a wood dresser that I had accidentally spilled Rain-X on (doh!) and the finish had gone all white and splotchy. I tried everything, rubbing it with a cotton cloth while blowing on it with a heat gun, every other wood cleaner/oil I could find, and nothing turned the trick until this.

Great danish oil. Nice color. Takes some time to dry after which it looks really nice. Very easy application .

Never disappointed using Watco Danish Oil. Easy to use product!
Watco Danish Oil has been a favorite of mine for years. Love using it, it never disappoints me in how it covers the wood grain so evenly.

Not for final finish
I tried this oil finish and was not satisfied in either the way it worked, nor the stain. I ended up giving it away to a neighbor to apply to bird houses. The first coat raised the grain severely compared to a Linseed based finish. Also, I was working with birch, and the color turned out to be an orange color, and not the medium red-brown "fruit wood" shown on the can. I guess they think everyone will only work with red oak or walnut. On applying the second coat, it took almost a day to dry, and the third coat took almost 1-1/2 days. The final finish was a very dull finish, and I had to sand it with 600 grit, then apply a Linseed based finish over it to bring out any luster. If I had used the Linseed based finish to start with, it would have dried much quicker, not raised the grain so much, and the final finish would have been much smoother, and looked much better. All in all, I wouldn't recommend it.
