Very happy with the monoscope, excellent optics, very clear and bright making it easy to see fine detail for bird watching. I love how many more stars you can see through it at night. Takes a little practice to get focusing spotting on, love the design. The hard lens covers give extra protection, but can be noisy popping on or off and the rear one can bang around as it moves on its cord, but now I clip it under the belt hook. Very happy, glad I waited for the price to come down, I feel I got a real deal.

Quality feels good, focus ring is smooth, not too loose. Optics are decent, for the price point. I don't expect this to hold up against $2000 optics, but at the price the chromatic abberations purple fringing are decently controlled even under relatively challenging conditions. The case supplied is not good, looks like it's for binoculars. I have bought a cheap neoprene sunglasses case and they fit snugly inside. Good for the pocket or in the backpack.

I first bought a pair of NOCS , and they just didn’t fit on right with my glasses and they weren’t powerful enough for me 10x32 These are great 10x40 , easy focus with one hand , clear view , I will use them when I’m on a cruise to see some whales. In the hand. The caps are great but when they are on the product , but when they are off of the scope the straps get in the way, and you have to hold it to keep it from swinging. The cap at the end of the monocular only opens so far and kinda gets in the way. Overall great scope when you want something more compact and lighter than binoculars this is it.

I initially bought some binoculars on Amazon for the same price, and they had a manufacturing defect so I sent them back. I read somewhere online that you could essentially buy a killer monocular for the price of an OK binocular, so thought 'why not?'. Much more satisfied with this. It's small, has a nice clip for the belt when out on a walk, and is easy to index with a little practice when putting it to the eye (took me a little longer to get used to than binoculars). Since then it has accompanied me on every walk and road trip. I'm no expert on optics, so I won't spout off on all the nerdy particulars, but this this thing is really a nice piece of gear. It seems clear, bright and really pulls things into focus, easy to use once I practiced a bit with it. Very happy with this little eye scope.
