Great addition to a Katsu-style curry, noodles or sushi
Love these Sakurazuke - pink pickled daikon mooli radish slices - really unusual sweet & sour / tangy flavour with a satsifying crunch. I tend to pop them on a Katsu curry, stir-fried noodles or ramen noodles with a Yutaka instant bonito miso soup broth (very lean but un-authentic!) or to accompany sushi. Good value for money as well & convenience of buying online - difficult to find in large supermarkets & I don't have any local smaller supermarkets that sell Japanese food products.

Loaded with artificial sweetener and preservatives. Not good value
This pink coloured ginger is loaded with preservatives, chemicals and artificial sweetner - and you can taste it! Yuk. Opt for the white sushi ginger in the same brand, if you must. However, be aware that both varieties are made in China. If you would like Japanese sushi ginger, the quality is much higher and can be trusted, but you will have to pay more. I suggest the Clearspring organic.
