This is much more convenient than the capsules we were using! Vets recommend fish oil and krill oil is even more beneficial. We give it to our dogs daily with their fresh food.

I bought this for two senior kitties: one is 11 and the other is 14. The older one has developed arthritis. I was already giving her Cosequin - Pet - Cosequin For Cats - 55 capsules but it wasn't enough to keep her from limping. When I added 1 squirt of Krill oil per day in addition to the Cosequin, that was the magic combination! After 2 months, she runs, plays, and jumps again without pain. She's still 14 and slower than she used to be, but she seems happy again and not grumpy with pain. I highly recommend this combination! I've tried fish oil in the past, but the oil turned rancid before I could use it all (even with freezing what I wasn't using). This pump is brilliant at keeping air out so it doesn't oxidize as well as keeping the fishy smell off your fingers. Both cats are happy to eat this Krill oil but often resisted the fish oil. Side Note: If your pet is older and new to oil/fat supplements, they may develop nausea and/or diarrhea if you give them the full dose the very first time. I noticed several other reviewers had this experience. Build up to the full dose or consider adding a digestive aid to their food to help them utilize their fats better. Older animals, like older people, don't digest proteins and fats as efficiently as they age, so introduce this supplement slowly.

What a rip off. When I ordered this previously, it was $39.00 for 3.9 oz. I just received my second order; 2oz for the same price. I did not notice the the reduction in quantity at the time I placed my order. Same price for half as much; that's a scam. The product works great and my cats love it. But the pricing has gone out of control. Shame on you, Dr. Mercola.

My Yorkie was a Rescue dog and came to me fresh off a case of HGE that almost killed him. I was truly convinced that providing him with supplements would turn his health around. My mom was terrified that giving him anything outside of his food would cause major setbacks in his health. Instead here's what has happened: His fur has grown and is very thick (produces oil now too) He's calmer now (emotionally) His skin is not dry anymore He scratches significantlly less Get this for your dog as part of his overall routine. I squirt it in his food in the morning and stir. In the evening he gets Dr. Mercola probiotics. The only downsides to this product are: - The botte is way dark and it is impossible to tell how much is really left - The bottle is prone to leaking. The pump would probably work better if it was longer and curved.

I got this for my little dog, since I make him a dog food with a mix and meat that I add to it, and you must add oil to it. I researched, and I found that krill seemed like the better choice rather than the oil from a larger fish and the possibility of added mercury. My little dog does not need much, and this has a long shelf life, so it stays fresh which works out as a better buy unlike refrigerating another fish oil without a pump like this one and having to throw it out when it goes bad in a shorter time before even getting to use it all. He seems to like it too which is great, and I like that it is easy to dispense and use only what you need. It smells like fish oil and seems just fine.

7-23-17 Update! Well, 2 weeks after the BP ordeal, she smelled a lily, which apparently is near deadly for cats. She was acting timid, so, we took her to an emergency vet (it was a Saturday) who said she was fine. Again, poked, prodded, weighed, etc., etc., and I told the emergency vet about the BP meds and she STRONGLY suggested I do not give her those meds. She said my cat was highly excitable and it's not HBP. Several weeks later at my regular vet, they brought in a vet tech, she did the test properly (minimum 5 samples over an hour) and it's normal! Now I don't know if it's the Krill Oil or lousy testing married with a nervous kitty, but she still loves the Krill Oil and it will surely help her health in other ways if not for her BP! --------------------------------------------------------Original Review-------------------------------------------------------- My cat is THE most finicky cat alive. She turns her nose up at almost everything. And she likes salmon, but when I put this krill oil on a little bit of salmon or other fish (it's similar to a shrimp taste) wow! I have never seen her eat anything with that much joy! Also, the day after her first dose, she coughed up an immense furball! I originally bought this because I wanted to lower my cat's supposedly high blood pressure naturally. My cat is highly upsettable when it comes to poking and prodding her. So given she is pretty freaked out, they take her blood pressure after a car ride, being in an office around dogs, an exam, then taking blood and urine and cutting her nails? Not too smart. They gave me meds for high blood pressure and I just don't want to give it to her before trying other things. Anyway I will get back to you in a month to let you know if this helped—plus going in for a BP check ONLY.

I bought this krill oil as my dog has a skin problem. Ive been using it now for a few weeks and can see an improvement. My vet also approves it.

Very disappointed as photo said 116ml and got a bottle that was only 59ml. Total rip off as price much more expensive for that amount else where. Only bought cause I thought it was actually a bigger size.
