I rated it a bit low for ease of installation because my washer just made that difficult, it was no fault of the dampers. However it solidified that the old dampers were completely wasted.

Bushings are crap. They are out of round on one end. The bolts fit thru approximately 3/4 of the way. Then they get stuck. After requesting replacement bushings I was told, "If the bushingsIf the bushings left, please reinstall it with a grease or use a little grease, all the shock absorbers when you force to install the bushings are gone, also the series of your machine can change the parts, you can also use the old bushings or drill the new ones for their suitable size.If you can not use the shock absorbers please return it,".Not sure what any of that actually means??? So I guess they are telling me that I should have to go get a drill and fix the poor quality crap they sent me?? Avoid the issue and find another vendor. What I had to do was find a round ultra fine file and spend 15 min cleaning up the inside surface of the bushing. No worries, I'm sure most people ordering new parts expect to have to do that.... And I'm sure most people keep those files on hand just for these types of occasions...

These worked great and were easy to install and replace. However, Please be aware that this part number is only for the two in front of the washing machine. The two shock absorbers in the back are a different part number: DC66-00470B.

I accurately diagnosed front left shock as one causing vibration issue on our Samsung washer. This replacement was a direct fit and dampened the drum perfectly. I don't think all shocks need replaced at the same time, just throw a new one in as they fail. To diagnose I slightly rocked the drum from the back panel opening, and listened to which shock made a click sound. Once you pinpoint the clicking one, remove and replace. Good value

These do not work, do not waste money get the OEM replacement the drum slams the outside walls with these on.

I purchased 2 of these and 2 OEM as well. This stopped the shaking in the spin cycle. After 2 months in everything is working good. The OEM shocks where much more expensive. I can’t tell yet if the OEM’s where worth the extra $$.

Its a real job to completely take apart a side loading washer to repair them. It's possible with some patience and basic tools and a full day to spare. The shock fit perfectly along w a few other pieces to get the washer going again.
