Used this as a sweet little journal!There is a slight small at the start but that’s to be expected (it goes away). This book is the perfect size and is definitely giftable!My only problems:1. The pages slightly rip when opened (not tremendously but a little where the string binds the paper).2. The clasp makes it a bit awkward to write in the book!Happy from my purchase! Would recommend although very pricey for what it is...

Excellent price compared to others. Lovely genuine leather, beautiful writing paper (no bleed through with a fountain pen). A shame the edges of the leather were ever so slightly not cut clearly in a couple of places but nothing you couldn't tidy yourself. Lovely journal and fantastic price. Try it and see!
