Kirkland Signature Chocolate Covered Raisins 1.53kg

Loved the aroma when I first opened this and the flavor profile was the best of any I've eaten in years, the chocolate melted in my mouth as it should and was not chalky or waxy as are some other chocolate coatings, I keep these in a cooler room of the house during the winter because the I like the texture of the chocolate 'cracking or breaking' as I chew before melting into a smooth creamy deliciousness. I felt like this is the way chocolate used to be made to perfection before a loss of craftsmanship or profit motive led to lesser quality ingredients or additives. The only complaint I have is that they are too sweet after eating more than a few they become cloying to my tastes but others may like the sweetness.

I've seen a lot of reviews about possible discoloration due to freezing, so full context; ordered and shipped to me during late fall, local high this week was 50f, and they hadn't been frozen before shipping as far as I can tell. May have different results during the summer! They're exactly what I wanted from chocolate covered raisins; nice and chocolaty, good sized raisins, good texture and flavor. For those who wondered, the label mentions that they're made in the USA, contain milk and soy and were processed on equipment that comes into contact with wheat, peanuts, and tree nuts. If you can grab these at Costco, they're usually cheaper there, but if not, these seem worth the Amazon price.

I received this product today and extremely impressed with shipping. Since it is chocolate covered raisins and it has been extremely hot here in the Southeast, I thought they would be one big ball of melted chocolate. It was the opposite, the container was wrapped in insulation with a cold pack. The cold pack was completely melted, but the chocolate raisins were perfect. The care and quality of the product is greatly appreciated and highly recommended.

I've tried several brands of chocolate covered raisins and Kirkland brand is always the best!! Great tasting chocolate and good size raisins. Yummmmmm!!

Who doesn't like chocolate? Put that around a raisin and have a tiny treat. I, like most folks, should select snacks that satisfy the need but avoid excesses. Excellent choice.

The packaging was crazy. Got a liquid pack inside the alluminium bubble wrap package, dont know how its suppost to keep the chocolate fresh through its thick plastic container but aye, it looks professional. the chocolate itself is pretty good u take 2-3 bubbles and it doesnt leave u with a very sweet chocolatey flavour in your mouth which is cool, cant go overload unless u like thers no tomorrow.. & last of all they got a reward which is easy to get

These are really delectable . The raisins are big and plump and the milk chocolate is delicious. Much better than the raisinettes sold at stores and in movie theaters.
