I like that this strainer has smaller holes, but has great drainage. It is a large capacity. I wasn't expecting it to be so large and should have gotten the next size down, but that's my fault. It has sturdy handles and is designed well. It functions like it should.

It works great. The noodles stay in and the water drips out. It works really good for thin spaghetti noodles because the holes are small and the noodles can’t ‘leak out’.

This is a fantastic colander with a stable base. A stable base is important to ensure you don't scald yourself with boiling water like I do every single time. Every. Single. Time. Also, I prefer metal colander as I once melted a plastic colander. NO bueno. I can not attest to this colander's ability to block alien or CIA brainwaves, but I image it to be much better than the plastic ones.

Nice looking colander! It’s big enough and strong enough to handle 2 lbs of pasta. The holes are a good size, spaghetti doesn’t sneak through them but water drains out fine.

I'm a HUGE fan of everything stainless in the kitchen. First I like the look of it, but more importantly the durability and ease of cleaning. Throw this in the dishwasher with no worries. We originally had a plastic colander for pasta and it broke after not long. This piece should last us for many years, and look good while doing it!!! No matter what you do to it, since it is stainless it can be cleaned back to good-as-nee condition

Love, love, love this! I use it for everything. It is sturdy enough that if I pour a hot pot of pasta in it, it doesn't tip over. I like the large size too.

Love this strainer. Holds a good amount of food. Cleans super easy & is durable. Will definitely purchase again.

Das Sieb ist formschön und macht einen bei dem günstigen Preis überraschend hochwertigen Eindruck. Wobei der Spülmaschinentest noch aussteht. Mir gefällt, dass es auf beiden Seiten (oben und unten) schön plan ist, also nicht herumwackelt, wenn es auf einer ebenen Fläche steht. Das habe ich ausgerechnet bei Fliegenschutzgittern ganz anders erlebt, die ja letztlich auch nichts anderes als ein feinmaschiges Sieb sind. Einziger Makel für mich: der Siebboden hat eine Macke (Kerbe). Das ist aber nur ein Schönheitsfehler, der mich nicht dazu motiviert, das Ding umzutauschen. Der Gebrauchswert wird dadurch ja nicht beeinträchtigt.
