The Neato XV series was not designed for Lithium Ion batteries and there have been some reviews that say they are no good so I was hesitant. Li-ion batteries can be dangerous if not charged just right! In doing some research, I found that the newer types of these batts have some type of revised circuitry that works better than others in fooling the Neato into believing it still had the original Nickel type batteries so I gave these a try along with an extended warranty. So far, they work very well and I am impressed! EDIT: They failed within one year. Review: Don't buy - In less than 3 months ceased working - EDIT: burned cirbuit board components! - I decided to try Li-ion after replacing quite a few regular batteries for my Signature Pro XV. The first few weeks it run smoothly. Then it required a restart every day after its cleaning cycle ("I had to restart 002"), but other than that operated well (and with an awesome cleaning cycle duration time). And now 2 and a half months in the unit does not get out of the please restart me message loop and batteries won't charge. My bad trying them out. Don't buy these. Buy the regular original batteries. EDIT: do not buy this piece of crap. This irresponsible product should deserve NEGATIVE stars. Charging Li-Ion on circuits designed for Ni-MH is complicated and can lead to under or overcharging - and the latter can cause stress and burn out of circuit board components (at least, fire hazard a possibility). DO NOT BUY THIS. Even though Li-ION in itself is awesome this is a dangerous jury rigged solution. Stick with the battery tech the robot was designed for. Good runtime, but charging error in XV-14
Update: while the installation is easy and the runtime is great, my XV-14 ends up with an error (button outline glows solid red/orange). Apparently there are instructions with a fix, so please include (a link to) those instructions with the product. Previous review: Got these to revive my XV-14, and so far (day 1) they work great. My Neato went from 12 minutes max to at least 45 minutes. Probably quite a bit more, I didn't check too carefully. After wasting $100 on NimH battery packs in the early days I finally got a Li ion pack, which lasted a few years. Better. These batteries are replacing those winning packs, hope they are equally long-lived. One note to the seller, maybe on the instructions page also add a note that users should tell the unit to calibrate the battery on first run. And perhaps as an extra service tell users the actual key press sequence to start the calibration, because I'm sure I'm not the only user whose Neato shows a blank display. As far as I can tell, starting a calibration requires: "after fresh start > press "select" button once > press down button four times > press select once > press down button five times > press select a final time". After that I hit 'back' twice, and hit start to start a cleaning cycle. I think that does it, maybe a user with a working display can confirm! :)

They run a long time-BUT!
My Neato keeps flashing battery needs to be reset..Not sure what the problem is since I keep resetting it for new battery replaced..However my Neato runs for quite awhile then returns to the charger and then turns orange asking to have the battery reset..I either believe it is too sensitive and the voltage on the battery is too high triggering the reset warning. So of course it becomes a pain because even though the battery is fully recharged once you reset it it has to charge another couple hours then Neato will run. I will go back top a regular Ni-Mh battery to try again. The run time seems longer but makes it a pain to keep Neato going. The newer version of Neato works well..but then again a Roomba Pet Hair vacuum I also have runs the longest of all three so honestly having two Neato's with the issues I have and the expense of them my next purchase will be going back to Roomba's..

No good
They won't charge! No good at all. Put the old batteries back in and they charge and work for a short time but they are worn out. Don't waste your time and money. These are crap!

A great choice to replace older battery technology
I had some old nickel batteries in my automatic vacuum and they were not performing well. I planned to buy another set of the same type when I came across these - more money but lithium and therefore a better product - right? I was nervous, but after several months I am quite happy with the purchase. They go in just like the originals and charge up fine and run a long time.

Robotic helper
Wow, I was so glad that the new batteries are working like a charm. The run time is longer than the original batteries. Love that my floor looks clean again without any help from me.

Doe not work for Neato Signature Pro
I can't speak for any other model, but I can definitively say it these batteries do NOT work for the Signature IV Pro. When I put the batteries in the machine, it immediately gave me error ( 0009). I have had this robotic vacuum for several years and have never had a problem with replacement batteries before. I thought that having lithium would be great. The seller was very nice, which is why I have two stars. After spending 30 minutes with the Amazon help desk, the seller was contacted. They immediately sent me detailed instructions on how to make them work: 1. Try switching the new batteries to opposites sides. Nope. 2. Try pinching the contacts so that they connect better with a pair of tweezers. This was no small task because standard tweezers are too big. I actually had to buy a really skinny pair, which now as a waste, since it made zero difference. 3. Update the firmware. This was REALLY hard because Neato no longer supports the product. There is no WIFI with this model and you have to connect the machine to your computer through a cable (which I finally found. After an hour of messing with this, I finally gave up as the update provided by the seller would not work in the end. I finally give up. By the way, the old batteries don't give this error when I put them back. They just don't last very long. Quite the mess, and its not like I did not try. Off they go for return. Hopefully this helps another poor soul.
