High quality Favorite
This is my favorite thing I purchased in 2022. I researched a long time before getting this. The quality didn’t disappoint. It’s sturdy and the amount of comfort is ridiculous. I can sit, lounge, bounce, swing all in multiple directions. Seriously, my happy place. I even eat lunch from my swing. It can be tricky to get out of and sometimes I am surprised but that’s usually because I forgot to use the handle bar or get out from the bottom. Not close to a dealbreaker for me. I love the hammock lounger concept. I have this on a townhome deck. Because it sometimes brushes up against the rail, I put pool noodles along the back metal pieces. I cover mine and it has no signs of rust for summer season 1. It was accidentally left uncovered in a downpour. I thought my cushion may get spotted stains but it dried beautifully. I’ll have to leave this out over our Midwest winter. I’m considering taking the lounge basket into the garage and covering the base on deck. I have sprayed the bolts with WD40 to prevent rust post assembly, but should have probably sprayed inside the tubes before assembling. Two other hacks: Put something down on the floor if assembling inside. Metal shavings stain carpet. Shampooing got most out. Secondly, consider putting foil on the underside of the umbrella bracket to deflect heat on the plastic piece where all the bars meet and screw in. It gets hot. I like the sun so keeping the umbrella slid down the back pole, because I forget to put it back up, isn’t an issue. I prefer covering it this way. You can cover with the umbrella open but you have to be gentle and depending on the weight of your cover, might bend the wire rods. My cover is lightweight and found I had to usually fix the umbrella ends because they come unhooked. I started sliding the umbrella down by letting the cover stay attached at the Velcro. The entire swing stands outside in all but rainy weather. I’ve had it a few months and no hint of fading although I’d expect that at some point. When storing under the cover or not wanting it to fade, the cushion rolls up. I flip it in half because my cover leaks slightly and a little pool of water goes on the mesh. I just brush it off. I also use a hammock pillow and attached it to the handlebars, as I needed a little more support. I suggest any cushions at all. The back headrest built in really only works when you’re completely upright. I like to work, watch a movie, check email in my chair and found the extra pillow perfect. I highly recommend this. The base is sturdier than the others. I’m not lightweight and the minimum baring weight was questionable on many other chairs. I haven’t worried about the quality even when swinging. I had a minor issue and the reseller responded immediately and also went above and beyond in resolution.

Love this Swinging Lounge Chair
I love this swinging chair. So comfy and relaxing. I got the Red, which is GORGOUS, but at the end of the summer, now, it is definately faded. So if you want to keep it perfect, bring it in when not using. I’ll just buy a replacement cushion when I need to. You don’t need the light. I got it for ambiance or whatever I was thinking but I only got it on once. Looked great though.

Chair is good and comfy, assembly directions need help. See the notes I provided.
Comfortable, sturdy, when assembled and sitting on it, your feet are higher than your waist. (think like a banana.) it's not dramatic, but it's definitely and incline, look at different chairs if you want your feet below your knee when relaxing in it. Is just "OK" to assemble. Following the tips below 1 person can assemble in about 75 mon.1st.. Get the 2 correct sockets or open end/ratcheting open, to save and hour and a migraine. The directions are mediocre at best. The parts aren't labeled. Will need to reference the pictures in directions. 1st issue is the #11 wedge that holds the light does not go on as per the directions. No chances don't waste the time. The "s" hook is too closed, to fit the wedge piece. And if you put it on like a key ring it spreads the arms too far and the bolt isn't long enough. So Unless you feed the bolt through wedge and the "s", which makes the "s" off set and crushes the wedge, and gives you barely any threads to put the both on, it's useless to put on. Much easier to assemble, then use a zip tie on the wedge piece. Next issue it putting the 2 arms together at the top (with the "s") first. Easy if you have help that can keep the 2 pieces from "scissoring" while trying to do the rest... Directions should have you put the bottom "u" piece into the extentions first, then add 1 side arm, then the other. THEN, bring them together with just the "s" (no wedge) at the top with the bolt... Lacing up the cushion holder seems daunting, but just find the middle of the rope, and start at the bottom middle (foot of chair) and work the bottom just up 2 or 3 eyelets around the one corner, then go up the other corner. Then go up to the arm rest one one side then the other. Pull snug. Don't worry about getting it tight at this point. Lace up past the top arm rest bolt, then go to the foot and pull tight up 1 side then the other. The Cushing holder will look sloppy and loose until this part. Then... Finish lacing up, get the tops decent tight, wrap excess around the center bar a few times, then go back to the bottom and tighten up both sides again. Then tighten up the top.

Comfortable and sturdy!
Really nice swing – it's very comfortable and pleasant to sit in. Only downside is that the shade is a bit too small, and the attachment is plastic. One of the screws pulled out of the plastic and needed a repair. Fairly minor issue on an otherwise nice chair.

As Adverised
Arrived early and already assembled. Assembly was going great until I turned to the second page of the instructions and then it hope I got it right. Wife loves it, so that is a win. It is sturdy and comfortable. I not sure how durable the cushions will be, it is a tad on the thin side and the material the one thing i worry about. Otherwise, good product would recommend with the caveat that be patient when assembling.

The only problem you will have is deciding who will get dibs. So buy two!
Love! Love! Love this chair! Wonderful! Fast shipping and feels like an instant vacation the moment you sit down! Manufacturer should consider adding cupholders. I added my own with velcro straps from the arm rest. I am already thinking about who else I can buy this chair for! We own an RV lot in Florida and this was our first purchase for the lot! It arrived fast and it is so relaxing! I will say the cushion could use waterproofing. What happens is water runs through it, but is trapped by the layer that supports underneath. I don't even use the cushion ties anymore. I keep the cushion in a storage tote, lay it on top of the chair when I use it, then put the cushion away when I'm done. I may just try spraying it with a waterproofing product and see how that goes. The shade works well, but can get blown around if not tight enough. It can be adjusted up and down the pole depending on sun angle. It is a little tricky getting yourself in and out of the chair, but it is really comfy for reading or naps. It doesn't really weather vane too much due to the design of the attachments at the top. Before I bought it I was worried it would just spin around into the pole with the wind, but it does not. I think the weight limit is 250 lbs. My young kids like to snuggle with me one it. The price on this is AWESOME! I don't know if you can buy a decent patio umbrella for this price! Seriously! If you have looked at patio furniture at all, this is a steal! I might have to get one for my porch back in Michigan too! Love the color! You do have to assemble it. My husband did most of it himself. I did help him hold the support for the seat because you have to thread the rope all the way around yourself. Not hard, just a bit tedious. We taped one end of the rope because it was starting to fray as we went through all the little grommets. I don't know if you could use a lighter to sear the ends of the rope or not, we didn't try that. I PAID FULL PRICE FOR THIS!!!! And I probably will buy at least one more for family and another for us. The only problem you will have is deciding who will get dibs. So buy two!

Great chair, but take one step prior to assembly to prevent a common problem
This chair is ultra comfortable and looks slick and modern on the deck. I love a few things about it. One is that it comes in colors people might actually want. Beige, navy, and taupe are all very well and good, but some of us LIKE colors. I got the chair in turquoise. The accent colors on my deck are turquoise and daffodil yellow, because 1.) heck yeah and 2.) neutrals are for squares. I did want to mention that a few of the negative reviews mention that this thing is susceptible to rusting. Noted. Before assembly, I applied clear Rustoleum all over this piece, paying special attention to the screw holes. I then put it all together and waited. No rust so far. If you take this step before you assemble, you can probably avoid the same trouble. Furthermore, if the fabric fades, as some reviews suggest it will after a season of direct sun exposure, you can just remove the cushion and get yourself a replacement in Sunbrella. Another thing I like is the teensy footprint of this piece. I take a long time every spring to lovingly apply Ipe Oil to my fancy, dark, tropical hardwood deck until it glimmers like well-seasoned cast iron skillet, so the smaller the footprint of any object I put on it, the better. I don't want fading, water pooling underneath something, etc. and this fits the bill. This thing has four touch-points on the feet, and none of them is bigger than a dime. Nod of approval to the small umbrella thingy up top. I like it. It's very unlikely to blow the whole apparatus away in a strong wind, and it does block out the sun well. No need to remove a star for this, as such items are definitely sold separately, but it would be nice to have a cupholder attached to it. You can't really have a piece of furniture anywhere near this thing, because it will just bash into it. But a simple clip-on cup holder could solve your "where do I put my beverage" problem for under $10, so maybe pick up one of those if you decide you'd like to buy this chair.

So disappointed
I hardly know what to say about this swing. I ordered it specifically thinking my infant granddaughter would love it for years to come and she appeared to. It arrived last month and I hired my furniture assembly guy to put it together for me. He hadn't done anything like this before but very quickly managed it. He liked it and took a picture to add to his website. I mentioned to him I had read reviews that alluded to rust as a problem with this swing and asked his opinion about the possibility that might occur. He answered saying we didn't live at the coast and he didn't foresee that as a potential problem. I felt better knowing that he deals with similar items every day. In fact, he had assembled patio furniture for me 18 months ago which also has a metal frame and there is no visible rust anywhere on it. Everything appeared to be fine until last week. To my surprise, I noticed not one, but several areas of rust had begun to appear on the exposed edges of the frame. I began Googling how to remove rust from metal thinking if I could get it under control immediately I could stop it. These edges have already become rough and I can foresee they could possibly cause an injury if they worsen. Today, I noticed patches of rust were appearing on portions of the frame that are smooth with no exposed edges. I am so disappointed. Not only did I pay for this item, but I also paid for my assembly guy to put it together. Who would have thought that in less than a month it would begin to rust? I live inland, more than 100 miles from the coast. Supposedly, I have 2 more days to return this. It weighed over 80 pounds when delivered. I have no idea how to disassemble and box it for a return. Of course, I can't keep it if it's going to continue to rust, especially at such an alarming rate. I don't know what to do. Initially, I loved this and so looked forward to the fall when I could really enjoy it. However, I can't recommend it considering it began to rust less than 3 weeks after I received it. Be aware if you purchase this you may face the same problem. I would like to amend this review to note that the company did refund my money. I contacted them explaining what had occurred and very quickly received it. That's a slight help but this entire purchase event will still end up costing me several hundred dollars. I paid my assembly guy $120, which was his regular rate. He did a great job, quickly as usual. I must now pay him again to disassemble the swing. I intend to offer it to him. He might be aware of something he can do to control the rust issue. If not, I will have to pay to have it hauled away, costing even more. The rust continues to spread. It's clearly obvious this is a quality control issue since some people have no problems with this, and others are seriously affected. Looking only at the one photo of rust I shared, it looks as though the paint wasn't applied correctly. Unfortunately, the entire frame has this problem. I decided to buy this because it was cheaper than the others I looked at. What a mistake, as it has cost me several hundred dollars, even with the refund. Not to mention the wasted time, along with the added degree of stress and anxiety. And I'm not through with it yet! Please spend a little more. You may save yourself money in the long run, and certainly significantly less aggravation.
