This knife is excellent for the price. The blade is very sharp and retains the edge. For a small knife it has good balance and the overall quality is nice.

A good, stout blade, fits well in the pocket, not too heavy or bulky, and sooo beautiful wit the abalone handle. The delicate shell is encased in thick clear resin. I got this for a valentine/ graduation gift for my fiance

This is the first non-Japanese knife I have purchased. This is Made in China; and I purchased this more because I was curious. The blade is damascus, not etched. The craftmanship is really good.... the abalone beautiful. The only negative is that the knife is thick, mainly due to a previous reviewer commenting that the abalone is sandwiched between rather thick plastic resin. That said --- for the money --- this is a wonderfully made folding pocket knife.......

Absolutely beautiful. My husband was thrilled with this knife. The intricate details on the blade with Damascus steel, and the vibrancy of the abalone handle. He loved the weight, balance and ease with which the knife opened and closed. My two sons wanted one as well after seeing his!

Absolutely a beautiful knife. I love Albatross knives as I own a few of them. This abalone handle is flawless and of course the blade is sharp and ready to go. This is the perfect pocket knife but keep it in its own pocket as not to ding the handle with loose change or whatever else you may carry.

The blade is large enough to do simple jobs that a pocket knife would be used for. Very sturdy, a good size to not get lost in your pocket. Comfortable to hold in your hand. Very well made with a beautiful wood finish.

Beautiful knife but their is a bit of a scuff mark on the blade ... not bad enough to send the knife back ... but still !
