Solid Brass, Fit Perfectly, and Look Well-Made
These harps appear to be solid bright brass, and of good quality. The old harps look to be about 11" inches tall; but the one inch shorter height of the new ones didn't cause any problems that I noticed. (I'm a guy and perhaps not as super-critical about aesthetics as you ladies, so you may conceivably see something you don't like but; but I think they look great.) The lamps still look good. You DO have to take out the CFL if it is in the socket before you can mount the new harp. The harp fit perfectly into the channels/receivers/whatever-you-want-to-call the arms they fit into. Very easy to install. Has the right threads on the top for the finial. If you are accident-prone or were born with no mechanical/electrical sense at all, you WILL want to unplug the lamp before you start the process, just to make sure you don't mindlessly leave the switch in an "on" position and stick a finger in the socket. Most of you will chuckle at that - I am as I write this; but trust me, someone out there is fully capable!

Product was perfect!
I bought this product for an old lamp whose harp had never fit correctly anyway and barely had room for regular 3 way bulbs. I figured that even though I had 35W bulbs, 3 way energy saver bulbs might be larger much like the regular ones are. This isn't an issue so a 9 inch would have been fine, but if you have a large shade it raises it quite nicely.I didn't have any issues with either the fit or the harp or collar stays that I know aren't the fault of my harp bracket. The new harp was made just as well as my 15 year old one. I found the collar stay to actually be LARGER than my old ones (although just barely) so I think the manufacturer has fixed this issue. Also, the base of the harp indent is slightly smaller on the new one. On my lamp it wasn't an issue, but if your bracket fits around the entire indent it could be a problem.I think that the manufacturer might have listened to the previous reviews that talked about issues, so if you need new or larger harps for your older lamps (mid 90's or newer) you may find these work just fine!

Just what the doctor ordered
When automating our home using MiCasaVerde Vera Lite, one of our components to turn lamps on and off was a module that screwed into the lamp socket. The problem was that the harps on our 4 lamps were designed for the shape of the incandesant bulbs so the ZWave module, with the large base, was too wide.I ordered 2 sets of these (there are 2 in each package) and they worked like a charm! Very, very easy to replace. The only drawback in all 4 of the lamps was that the flattened portion of this harp which fits into the lamp was a little too wide, I simply used my Dremel with a Grinding Wheel to narrow them slightly ... hence the loss of a star ... other than that, they are excellent replacements and the price is right.

Good product but too small for certain 30 watt LED bulbs
I was purchasing a 30 watt LED light bulb ( OUYIDE Spiral LED Corn Light Bulbs 250 Watt Equivalent 3300LM 30W A19 LED Bulbs Daylight 6000K E26 Socket ) and realized it would not fit in the existing harp, so based on the provided dimensions I purchased this one. Well the LED bulb is so big on top that it did not fit initially. Luckily I was able to rebend this harp to make it work. So if you are buying that LED lamp I would suggest buying a larger harp, either 11.5" or 12".The harps delivered were fine and of good quality, just too small for the 30 watt bulb above.

Easy to install 10" harps to fit those bigger Energy Saver 3-Way CFL bulbs
I used these 10" harps for replacing the smaller harps that came with my bedside lamps. Now I can replace my regular 3-Way Bulbs with these bigger Energy Saver 3-Way CFL bulbs PROS: These AZLO harps are an easy fit - just squeeze the harp ends together, insert the squeezed harp and release to fit in the ends of the lamp. Finally, pull down the small end caps on the harp to secure the harp ends onto the lamp.SEE MY PHOTOS IN CUSTOMER IMAGESCONS: AZLO offers this 10" harp in brass-color only :((On bedside lamps (especially those that are not very tall) - most of the harp is hidden by the lampshade. So, I was able to use this bargain priced brass-colored harp on my chrome-colored bedside lamp with no one noticing!Hope my review and photos were helpful ... Jeffrey A. (Jeff)

Helps to have strong hands to fully position the ends
Returned this size after ordering two sizes to save time and effort when I found it necessary to replace a harp that was too small for the larger-dimensioned CFL bulb that replaced the one formerly in my table lamp. I subtracted a star on the other review because I hadn't the strength to force the ends in enough to push the collars down over them; but it seems secure, the shade is straight, and the quality seems good.

Had to Rework Them.
We bought two new table lamps with 3-way sockets. They also came with 8" harps thatwould barely accept an old fashioned 3-way lamp. We bought these harps to adaptthe lamps for CFL 3-ways. For some strange reason the manufacturer supplied these supposedly broad range general replacement units with the smallest possible locking sleeves. Like a previous reviewer my shades and new harps were flopping all over. In the end we applied a little effort and were able to exchange sleeves between the old and new harps. PROBLEM SOLVED.We gave this product only 3 stars because this retired mechanical designer believesthat a product like this should have more size range designed into the sleeves.

Solves a modern problem, but faulty design narrows application.
This is a fix for new-fangled (and soon-to-be old-fangled) CFLs [Compact Fluorescent Lamps] that are built too big to fit your existing lamp harps. These harps easily accommodate even my gigantic 3-way CFLs. As most other reviews note, however, the mounting parts (flat ends and securing bells) are the wrong size to securely fit the mounts on many lamps. Spring compression will hold the harp in place, but imperfectly. (I guess a wrap of tape will make them more secure, if you don't care how it looks.) I'm surprised that the maker hasn't corrected this frankly stupid design oversight by now. I cannot recommend these wholeheartedly, but as there is currently no alternative that I can find...

Como primera experiencia con Amazon fue muy buena
Me gusto la rapidez de la entrega, lo que no fue muy bueno fue el hecho de que el arpa llego sin el tornillo de sujecion a la lampara y tuve que conseguirla
