Q: Does this work on pleather?

Pleather doesn't need conditioner. Just wipe it clean with a damp cloth. This will not be absorbed by pleather the way it is by leather. You'll have a greasy mess.

Q: Will the 6 oz size cover a large leather sofa?

Leather Salve 6 oz should be able to cover a large leather sofa (a small amount goes a long way). Usually one 6 oz bottle covers about 100 sq ft.

No it does not matter what color the leather is.

You should not get the product down in the working parts just on the leather.
