Easy installation and awesome on board effect
This was super easy on-board effect for my frankenstrat

Quick easy built in (on-board) VARIABLE Distortion.
Works and sounds great. Only giving 4 stars because does not play well with my Marshall Stack. Otherwise a must for every guitarist.

Awesome Product
I am a custom guitar builder , I had a customer bring this to me to install in his new build . I must say and numerous others including my customer , that this thing is legit . It's Okish
A bit too expensive for what it is. In my application it did not sound great and adds quite a bit of noise to the signal. I used in a mini amp head that I built. The boost setting is the most usable one. Also, the only way to control the amount of the effect is a tiny trim pot that is on the circuit board itself, so if you have this in any type of enclosure you wont be able to change it readily. Thinking about removing it because of the noise.

I received what turned out to be a defective unit. Nick at CB Gitty was fantastic! Sent a new unit and everything is working.

update, five stars
installed this in a pawnshop parts caster guitar. played a whole gig without a pedal board. was a country gig so i didn't use the most distorted setting. the other two where completely usable. a tone control would be nice to roll of some highs. can be a little raspy. update. this sounded just ok, usable through my solid state small amp. have been playing it through my 5150 combo and its great. set your amp on the edge of distort, kick in for leads at any of the four settings. great sustain, use guitar volume to control clean up, distort.

Nasty!
Added to my Jackson js3, sounds great, #5 the "dirtiest" setting is just nasty, I'll probably never use it, but 2 and 3 I will definitely use.

In or out of guitar, worth it.
Awesome. Could use a little more range between the first two or three settings but still a great device. I actually made mine into a mini-box rather than installin in a single guitar.
