Is the tube plastic? Last time purchased was metal, time before plastic. Metal tube cracks n leakd

Same here. I personally cannot stand the metal tube for the exact reason you mentioned. When you try folding up the used portion, you always end up with a tear, and the stuff just oozes out. I would like to see room on the ordering page for "additional notes", because if I did, I would always opt for "please send plastic tube. Metal tube isn't as efficient, and is costing me money."

How long can you use this. the package says not more than 7 days. with dentures i'm afraid i may want to use it longer?

Generally cold sores & sores from rubbing dentures will heal in about a week. Occasional use is ok and continual denture sores require denture adjustments. But it would be very difficult to over use this med on small oral lesions.

Is Bexident the same thing

I don't think so, Benzodent is used for pain associated with dentures. Which works very well for me. Bexident to my understanding is a mouthwash that treats gum disease.
