Best erasers in the world. I have used them in all my classrooms for over 40 years of teaching. I cut them in half and they last for years. I do a lot of detailed map making and illustrations with my students and teach them how to use an eraser well. When they erase the outline shadow they often comment how "satisfying" it feels to have a clean final copy. Great value.

Corny to say, but it really erases. Office has been using/repurchasing this brand for over 30 years.

I have been using Magic rub by prismacolor since I was in school. I am very particular on erasers. Do you see how it clears lines?

These are the best erasers for artwork, no doubt about that! I used them in my college drawing class and my son uses them for his high school art classes. They erase without leaving any marks.

I think the formula has changed. The older magicr rub erasers were softer, pleasant to hold and use, and erased very well. There were tiny craters on the surface of the softer, more flexible material. In contrast, these new erasers are harder, stiffer, and very slick, a bit shiny. They smear the graphite on the paper, before they start erasing, after several passes. Maybe these erasers work well in other applications that I haven't tried, but for graphite on plain papers, its a 'pass' for me. These erasers were extremely popular for years, as they were....I wonder why they changed them?
