Izuba Urusenda Rwandan Style Hot Sauce 190 ml

We absolutely loved this. Bought some for over Christmas and we smashed through it!

I haven't had a sauce like this before so I thought to check it out. I'm normally used to Nigerian & Carribbean cuisine but this was a pleasant experience. Will definitely buy again. Goes well with near enough every type of meat. Could even be a good dip or African twist fajita sauce.

A really pleasant surprise! A very hot and tangy sauce, reminds me of the home-made, traditional scotch bonnet chilli sauce that my cook used to make for me when I stayed in Trinidad. Fruity and ginger aroma. No colours or preservatives. My only criticism is price - at £5.99 for 190ml, it's MUCH more expensive than other good hot chilli sauces - e.g. I usually buy Crucials Extra Hot Chilli Sauce (1Ltr) at £7.95, i.e. for a LITRE bottle. It's a different sauce, but equally hot and tasty. I use a LOT of chilli when cooking, and I may buy Izuba Urusenda Rwandan Style Hot Sauce again, but at the price, it's unlikely to be my "dafault" chilli sauce for everyday use. But do try it!

An outstanding sauce. For anyone looking for something akin to Nigerian pepper sauce in flavour and heat, this is it! We get through a jar every 2 weeks.

The worst experience I’ve ever had it came open I could feel that was open when I was opening the package, I don’t even want to taste it because you don’t know who has put their hand on it This is so disappointing I won’t recommend at all think twice before you buy 👎🏻

Very tasteful and flavoursome chilli sauce indeed think of it as a milder and sweeter alternative to Peri Peri Vusa from Nandos if you are fimiliar with it. If you are after a very fiery chilli sauce then would not necessarily recommend this but if you want a fairly hot flavoursome experience then would definitely recommend.
