It includes the kombu and enough of it to create your own pot of soup. Down the road I have used 3 packets along with local tofu to transcend this product which I deem versatile. To current I've been using it as a comfort glass of soup before bed. Its like hot coacoa on a cold day. Amazing product by itself but can also provide company to any dish. No complaints from me.

The perfect kitchen staple if you like noodle soups.
I always have the Red and White Miso packets as a staple in the kitchen. Makes the best noodle soups always. Unfailing always good.

Tastes the best, easy to fix.
This Miso soup is the best I’ve had. It has a little seaweed in it and a couple tiny pieces of mushroom, it tastes the best of any I’ve tried. It costs a little more but I think its worth it. It is so easy to use, just pour in 2 cups of boiling water.

This miso soup is the best that can be expected from a pouch. It tastes very close to what you get at (American) Japanese restaurants. It is quick to prepare, and has clean ingredients (no flavor-enhancing additives).

Bought for a short business stay at Air B & B. Mixed with microwave rice and had a great healthy delish meal! I avoided expensive less healthy take out and was Easy/lightweight to pack for plane travel. I would buy again.
