OMG, it works!
I needed a small vacu-form machine for a project that I am working on so I thought that I would take a chance on this based on price. What did I have to lose? On the outside it appears pretty well built. I did not open it up to see what is inside. It has worked surprisingly well with good consistent results but here are my recommendations. 1.)Buy the manufacturers Dental Splint material to use with it. I am using the 1.5mm hard splint material. It is a little bit expensive but works better than other materials I have tried. 2.)Watch some YouTube videos on how it works. They help. 3.)Getting the material temperature correct is key. Rather than go by time, I look underneath the splint material and wait until the sag reaches the bottom of the frame. Then turn on the vacuum, turn off the heat and drop the frame onto the mold. FYI, I am making my molds on a 3d Resin Printer. The resin prints appear to withstand the heat of the machine.

Outstanding product
This little unit worked exactly as advertised and did a stellar job making replacement retainers. The key thing was to wait until the plastic sagged about 1-2 cm below the bottom surface of its mounting and then drop the softened plastic onto the mold. Cutting the 1.5mm thick plastic sheet I used definitely required more than scissors. I used a small Dremel circular saw. Make sure to peel off any protective films on the plastic pieces before using them!!! If the molded part is difficult to remove at the end just put into some hot water and then pry off. Great product so far.

Heating Element is defective - 2 of 2 within minutes of use.
We ordered two of the Annhua Dental Vacuum Former machines within a day a part. The first arrived promptly, packaging in tact. We plugged it in and it immediately started smoking from the heating element and smelled of melting plastic and electrical. We unplugged it, let it cool and examined it to ensure their was not any packaging material left on the machine. Their was not. It just really likes to smoke. We returned it. The second arrived the following day; prompt and with packaging in tact. We plugged it in and it worked perfectly. The suction and heat worked amazing. The retainers were easily made and fit the patients perfectly. Today the heating element won't turn on. The switch works, the suction works, but the heating element does not. We can turn on the switch leave it on, put our hand flat onto the heating portion of the unit, and nothing. It is as cold/warm as the room air around it. Today is it's second day of use. The heating element worked for 6 sets of retainers, total on time about 12 minutes. In my opinion, this could be a great product if the manufacturer could figure out the issue with the heating element.

Great product, but basic vacuum forming knowledge helps
Great product! I wanted this to creat molds from my 3D prints. This is not a super advanced product, but it gets the job done and has made mold making so much easier and faster. From turning on the machine and having a mold takes about 5 minutes. Pros: Great value, easy entry point for vacuum forming, does what’s advertised and more Cons: Poor packaging, minimal instructions

Inexpensive and effective
Used vacuum forming machine to make plastic windshields for model car kits. PET-G plastic is recommended in this application. Monitoring plastic temperature is key to making good parts. Recommend a laser non-contact thermometer to monitor plastic temperature. Machine is compact, solidly built and works reliably.

Paid for itself in the first 2 months
I need to make new night guards every week or my teeth get out of alignment from my tongue thrusting upon the back of my top teeth. This causes my night guard to get misshaped. Because of this, my teeth start to separate and I get a huge gap between the front of my upper teeth. I saw on YouTube how to make your own night guards. The first pair I made were too thin but on the second pair I had the process down. Now each week, I make myself a new pair and my teeth stay perfectly aligned for about a dollar a pair.
