Braun Shaver and Appliance Oil

Easy to use, good quality

The oil on here is amazing at lubricating my electric razor blades. However, it comes only 3/4 filled and not a lot of product. But, a little of this oil goes a long way. Don't overuse it.

I used to use light machine oil as a lubricant on my Braun electric shaver. It worked but added a machine like smell to the shaver and made my skin somewhat oily for a time. This product works well as a lubricant but does not have an oily smell and does not leave an oily residue on my face.

Bought it on recommendation from Braun to help keep the blades clean and long lasting.

This stuff is outrageously overpriced. Clearly one is paying the cost of packaging it in a nice little plastic dropper bottle and not really for the oil itself. I bought it as an experiment for my new Braun Series 7 shaver. I’ve never bothered to lubricate a shaver before and wanted to find out, 54 years after I got my first Braun, if it made any difference. It does. It really does. Just touch the bottle to a finger and squeeze out one drop. Gently spread it over the cutter foils, and the shaver hums. It improves the speed, closeness, and comfort of the shave.

II expected to receive a full container of appliance oil . I have ordered this item before, and the container was full.

I bought a tiny bottle of Braun shaver oil for $13. which, to add insult to injury, was half full. Maybe a spoonful, The packaging was well sealed, no sign of any leakage What a ripoff! Oil is oil: in the ground for thousands of years and various viscosity. But if it was refined in natural pearls they still could not justify a spoonful of oil in a bottle half full and screw the customer. Look elsewhere like watch oil or Wahl clippers where the same oil costs a fraction of the Braun product. We know that neither Wahl not Braun make oil, They buy drums of it from a refinery. All the same stuff. Look elsewhere!
