I like this face cream enough to stock up on it as they seem to be replacing it with a 'whipped' version that's VERY sloppy seconds, indeed! What I don't like about it: Despite the instructions saying it's for use Day AND Night, I found this cream worked best when worn AT NIGHT ONLY. I use it over all my Korean routine of Essences, Serums and lotions on face and neck. The cream has a smooth, velvety texture that absorbs quickly and doesn't leave an oily film on the skin. Over some time, my skin seems brighter in the morning. You do have to use it regularly, though. As a DAY CREAM, I found this to leave a chalky white cast on the skin. Plus, it takes ages to rub in fully and I still see white streaks. When I apply my SPF over this, it looks awful - very Casper The Friendly Ghost. I guess it's less noticeable at night. What I like about this cream: The smell is lovely. It spreads easily, ABSORBS QUICKLY and plays well when applied over Emulsions and other Serums you may use. I'm never without this face creme for nightly use. It's never broken me out yet and mine is a fickle, troublesome, Combination/Oily skin at its most temperamental. I tried the newer ideation titled 'Whipped' and it's not a patch on the original Olay Luminous Creme - not even close!! The price is affordable and easily outperforms most face creams I've ever used and like a lot of women, I've used a LOT over the years at price points from modest to stratospheric. So then, 4-Stars only because it SHOULD work equally well for night and day use and it does NOT. Other than that, this deserves its spot in my beauty Pantheon. Long may they continue to formulate this version... Let's just say it's an excellent 4.5 rating. Follow up: January 5th, 2019 This cream PILLS when worn under sunscreen. That’s why I only use it at night. If you like it, Olay now makes a.day version with an adequate SPF. It comes in travel-friendly-sized tube👏🏼. My mother always used olay products her whole life so I thought this would be great to try. I am 35 years old, not a lot of problems about my skin, but I do have some dark marks from acne. This cream has been wonderful, it really has helped my skin look more even and radiant. It goes on very smooth and silky also, I love the feel and smell of it. The only bad thing I can say that if you have a really dry skin day you have to work this in a bit on your face or it will look a little white and flakey. This is not an all natural cream but nothing in it has irritated my sensitive skin at all. I have used this morning and night for about 2 months and was impressed. I just ran out of my cream and will for sure get another one. The dark spots I have manly on my chin have lightened up so much that I can just cover them with foundation, I was never able to do that before. The dark spots are not gone 100% yet but they do look much lighter so I will continue using this for best results! Give it a try if you have dark spots, it is worth it!

My age spots or dark spots are still visible. I have now used up the whole glass canister of this OLAY that is supposed to lessen dark spots but the only thing noticeable to me is that my skin is less dry than it has been in the past. I don’t feel that it did what it promised to do. It was quite expensive for a lotion that helped with dry skin, I could have used a no name brand product for dry skin and received those results. This was supposed to lessen the dark spots on my skin. I don’t have many, and they aren’t that bad they just look like a couple of areas that I have had sunburn over the years and now the freckles have turned into tiny age spots. I don’t feel the effectiveness was there for what it said it would do but the fact that it was not sticky, went on smoothly and due to the fact it is made by OLAY and did soften my skin was a win, but not for the high price that I am only willing to pay to get rid of the dark spots.

I have been using various olay products for years. Great value for your money. I have only used this a few days and I will only be using it at night. I use another Olay product for days with SPF. As my dermatologist recommended you need to use the product everyday but also use sunscreen.

Very pleased with this project!

This product peels up on my face. It does not soak in. You can't wear it under makeup it will all peel off. IT is sad a well know company would put out a product like this. I would like a refuld from them.
