When I saw this I fell in love but the cost was above my budget ($30-40 more) so I ended up going with a different system, smaller head, round, etc... When I went to install it the whole thing felt cheap. The valve was soldered together and not even straight. The mounting screws were level so trying to get your handle to sit flush and look nice would be v difficult. The final straw was the fact that I had to drill into the tile to mount the handle for the shower wand AND drill a hole for the water supply for it (I hate drilling holes in tile).So I went back online and lo and behold this one was on some Christmas sale and the price as almost the same as the lower cost alternative. When it arrived the difference in quality was immediately obvious. The valve is a one piece unit, set in a plastic casing which includes the holes to mount it. No problem getting it flush. Simple to install with 4 male thread to pex pieces. I used pex-al-pex, which is stiffer than regular pex and also holds a shape better (no springing back into a coil or whatever), to make my connections. It was super easy.The only challenge I had was the drop ear elbow for the wand. I thought I had set it almost as far forward as I could against the backer board (1/2") but it ended up being just a tad too shallow. I had a minor leak when I turned the water to full hot and let it run for a few minutes. After applying 15 windings of tape I was able to get it to not leak and sit properly.It looks amazing, works great and hopefully will last (the true test).

The media could not be loaded. The finish of this rain shower faucet set is what I would call a true matte black. All of the pieces have a nice heft to them and it feels like quality metal, quality fixtures, quality tubing, etc.The style and design of this is what I would call modern class. It would blend in with most current style bathrooms and if you had a home that was a little bit older it could be a nice update as well.Exceptional design inside and out. This comes with easy to follow instructions. I don't see anyone having any trouble installing this if they just take the time to read what is included.It won't take you anything more than standard tools to install this in your bathroom and probably no more than an hour's worth of time.So it won't take you very long to be singing in the rain and style and at a very reasonable price.Best Features:- Modern Look and Design- Simple Installation Instruction- Wide Rain Shower Head

My contractor just installed the new shower system, not able to fully use, only able to perform a water flow test due to tile/grout needing to cure. The construction is beyond what I excepted for an off brand & reasonably priced, very solid. The flow test performed well and was happy with the water pressure, even the handheld unit was better than excepted (and looks nice too). The contractor has never installed this type of system and was a bit challenged by the weight of the faucet control and the install of the allen screws. The instructions would better serve the end user if more support information is provided regarding the fact the allen screws which hold the handheld faucet unit cannot be installed after tile has been set. The screw is located below the tile surface with no means to access if shower is installed as part of a remodel. We were required to knock out the surrounding tile in order to properly install .... maybe add a caution note of some type to the instructions.... would have been helpful. Besides this some what minor set back the shower system looks great and can't wait for my first rain shower. Will update this post after in use for a month or so.

The media could not be loaded. The Embather Shower System was my shower jewelry of choice for my recent Master Bathroom remodeling project. Overall, I’m extremely satisfied with the product but it falls short of a 5-star rating for a couple of reasons.Let me begin with the pros. It’s an uber cool design and really nailed the contemporary look I was going for. The price was very reasonable compared to shower systems I shopped both online and in high end retail stores. The packaging was very impressive right down to the white gloves (which my plumber didn’t use but I’ll keep handy for a tea party. lol). The product quality is good and the system is working without any issues so far. Ease of install? According to my plumber, it wasn’t as difficult as he thought it would be and actually ended up reducing the installation fee afterwards for which I’ll award my plumber a 5-star rating. 😊Now for the cons. Beware that if you’re upgrading from a standard shower head to a rain shower & handheld system, you’ll need to consider costs for additional pipes and plumbing. I paid more for the plumbing than the shower system. Also, I wish the water pressure from the rain shower head had different pressure settings and that the shower head could be tilted.

this product is pretty great and easy to install. I love the pressure on it. It feels like a rainfall pretty good for the price this is a must.

This shower head and handheld are awesome and beautiful too! Be sure to wipe the parts down after your shower - the water will leave spots as with most stainless type metals. I do have a couple of nozzles in the rain shower part that water is not coming out of but it could be our water pressure and . I LOVE this shower head because water goes all over you so no more turning to get warm while the other side of you gets cold! The pressure in the handheld is really strong. It's nice to have the gentle 'rain' feel then use the handheld for rinsing conditioner from my hair. The best of both worlds. My contractor was a little slow to install it and when he did we discovered a missing nozzle. The customer service is second to none as they responded very quickly to my request for replacement nozzles and mailed them just as fast. If I ever redo my 2nd bath I will definitely purchase another Embather product. Thank you again Customer Service Department!

Shower head fell apart, paint chipped, started leaking. Lasted about 5 years.
