Samsonite Luggage Xenon 2 13 Inch Ultra Slim Portfolio, Black, One Size Laptop Bage

Clean, minimalist ultrabook brief. This is my new go-to brief - extremely light, clean lines, holds a couple of files, notepad, tablet, chargers, and ultrabook. I carry a Lenovo X1 Carbon Touch - perfect fit. And it's also not so expensive that I feel I can never replace it (Tumi's are as heavy as they are expensive). I also have the Samsonite 13" backpack for overnight trips - same basic review - light, minimalist, deceptive capacity (shirt, undies, socks, + Bose headsets. DIY'er tip - I drench any nylon gear with 3M Scotch Guard before first use. Keeps my nylon gear looking like new for a looong time.

They're not kidding when they say "ultra-slim." If you have an ultrabook, power adapter, a USB device, and maybe a few pens, keys, cell phone, etc., you'll be fine. This won't work well if you have textbooks, a thick external mouse, an apple, etc. The internal pouch for your computer actually suspends it a bit off the bottom, which acts as a cushion of dropped. Fits a Thinkpad Yoga perfectly. Like all the Samsonite stuff we have used, the materials and construction are top notch.

This bag is really slim and compact. Fits my Fujitsu Ultrabook 13.3 inch nicely, definitely will not fit a 14 inch laptops. As mentioned by one of the reviews, Samsonite is really not joking when it mentioned slim. The power adapter and mouse will still fits it but it will make the bag looks bulged. Material quality is good, zippers are smooth. But I doubt the material on the carrying handle will last as it seems to be made of cheap PVC material.

Excelent. Slim but bigger than I though

I just replace my old "small" bag with this one from Samsonite. I am very pleased. It is still small so I can keep it under the seat on the plane. It holds more than my previous bag and it is organized better. I can carry by 13.3 zenbook, all the accessories for it and my phone, my phone, my business cards and still have a section for my portfolio and papers. It is very light. The bag, and most importantly the zippers, appear to be well made. Haven't had it long enough to say for sure, but I think that it hold up very well.

Smart looking bag with various utility pockets. Feels durable too. But after using it for 2 weeks, a 2 inch tear has appeared at the top seams just below the hand-carry handles. Will have to see if the local Samsonite service centre will honor the warranty.

I love this bag. I'm using it for my 1st gen Microsoft Surface Pro. It fits perfectly in the padded slot. I also carry my charger, external hard drive, slim dvd burner, wireless mouse, and all the cables and cords you could imagine. Everything is held secure and safe. I'm pushing what you can all fit in the bag, but when you unzip the pockets fully I have no problems getting everything out. Very sturdy material and the zippers are holding up fine. So far six months of almost everyday use and not a single complaint

This is a well made light bag, but I would prefer one that is slimmer and one with zippers that worked more smoothly.
