Quick service
Works as advertised. Appreciated the fact that my old camera was actually listed as one of cameras this battery would work in.

Great battery replacement for my Nikon.
Worked perfectly for my Nikon camera. Keep in mind that you will also need to buy a charger for the camera itself. I didn’t know that until I received the product and tried turning on my old camera.

Nikon S4000 battery, good deal for the money.
Bought as a replacement for a Nikon S4000 camera. Brought it back to life nicely. Won't know about its lifespan yet, of course, but so far a good deal for the money.

Incompatible with the Nikon Coolpix S6800!
Despite what the ad says, this battery is not "compatible" with the Nikon Coolpix S6800 battery. It has the dimensions of the original battery, sort of, although it goes into the battery compartment in a rather haphazard fashion wanting to tilt sideways. The camera has an orange tab that is supposed to lock the battery down, but the tab will not hold this battery. The real kicker is that I believe there is some sort of "magic decoder ring" buried in the original battery that says "I am an official Nikon battery" that then lets the camera's built-in charger charge it. Think of it as the camera manufacturer's version of "copy protection." This battery does not pass that test, meaning you cannot plug a miniature USB cable into the camera to charge it. I used a USB power meter to watch the charge current, and despite the battery shipping at half-charge (a requirement in the law), the charger won't feed the battery a single milliamp of current. My beef is not necessarily with the battery itself. It's more a beef with the product description that leads you to believe that the battery is plug 'n play for the S6800. For that reason, I give it a neutral 3 stars. It may charge in an external non-Nikon charger, but that isn't how I want to charge my battery. I cannot claim it is a good or bad battery, only that it does not work for my particular Nikon camera.
