Sorcerer is a 2-4 player dark fantasy card and tactical board hybrid game set in Victorian London. Players build unique sorcerers by merging three decks, then strategically deploy minions across three battlefields. With action-based turns and dice-driven combat, players vie to control two battlefields to win, blending deep strategy with immersive theme.

fun fun
This game is like a dark fantasy, way-more-serious version of Smash-Up. It takes the basic card-battling system that game uses and adds a few unique mechanisms and it's surprising how much more fun I find Sorcerer than Smash-Up. Highly recommend this game. My only regret was not picking up years ago when the expansions were available as you will want more characters to choose from as the base game only comes with 4.

A lot of fun
Good times. Deck building is super simple, each person selects 3 pre constructed decks and combines them. people criticize the dice rolling element because it introduces another layer of randomization (first being deck shuffling) but I think it makes fun.- cards are high quality: thicker than MTG cards and IMO better artwork

Not bad
Good game, had a learning curve, beautiful but evil theme. All in all it’s worth the experiences

Fantastic
Fantastic game. I like it as much as the best games out there - from MAGIC to Elder Scrolls Legends and Mythgard. Only drawback is it takes 45 minutes to an hour to play a game -- but it's original, has great mechanics, and the expansions add a lot. Lots of different ways to combine one's decks. Games are always extremely close.

One of my favorite games.
Game is super fun. It has several advantages:-It has a fast set up.-You build your deck with preset decks, but combining them creates variation.-Even a beginner can get right into it.-It has the mechanics of TCG without being one.-The dice throw adds some randomness and chaos which can be really fun. At the same time TCG stubborn players may not like this mechanic. My recommendation is to also buy the expansion packs which gives you many more options when creating games. This is one of my favorite 3 games.

Excellent game
Games tend to be on the longer side. Components are top notch and help keep track of the gameplay.

By far the worst I've played
I have over 100 games and this game is the one that I simply can't stand playing. I just retried the game after several months to give it a second chance, and like it even less now than I did before. I have Hero Realms and Star Realms from this same company and Hero Realms is my family's favorite game - we play almost daily. I originally tried and bought the game based on our enjoyment of their other card games, but it didn't pan out. This game seems to combine the worst of the worst. It has lots of fiddliness with moving tokens around, it's not helpful to beginners who don't want to study the cards beforehand, and you can easily lose, or even worse, just sit there and feel helpless, based on the game's inherent randomness. The game decks are setup with a Characters, Lineages, and Domains. In the game I just finished, there was a mechanic that allowed me to "attach" cards. Seemed interesting and I figured that this was a thing to do since lots of cards had this mechanic. During the game I was never able to use this ability and later found out there were only like 2 cards in the deck that took advantage of it - they never came up.I played this game too many times where I simply felt helpless and unable to do anything. I've been playing games of all difficulty levels (e.g. from UNO to Twilight Imperium) and have never enjoyed a game less than this.
