As you eat more of it, the initial strong sour taste fades a bit, and is a very great tartar sauce, overall the product by itself is a 5/5 in my book, but the sizing portion is just too small for someone who loves their food with dressing next to it.

My first impression when I saw it arrived was the size. This thing is tiny, you can easily hide it in your hands without even trying. Size aside, the flavor was strong initially but not overpowering. As you eat more of it, the initial strong sour taste fades a bit, and is a very great tartar sauce, overall the product by itself is a 5/5 in my book, but the sizing portion is just too small for someone who loves their food with dressing next to it.

It’s a sweet tarter with a touch of dill
It’s ok has a sweet/dill flavor wasn’t expecting that. It’s been a long time since I’ve found a good tarter sauce and I’m still looking. This is a sweet tarter with what seems a hint of dill tarter sauce very unique but not what I was looking for. I remember the days you could find fish and chip restaurants everywhere and they had some of the best sweet tarter sauce, now fish and chip restaurants are gone and it seems their wonderful tarter sauce with them. I’ll keep using my rose wine vinegar or lemon on my fish as I keep looking for good tarter sauce. Some may love this sauce as it’s a bit of both worlds, sweet and dill but it is rather expensive for the wee jar. I’ll keep searching. I actually purchased this one based on the reviews of a different tarter sauce that recommended this s one. As I am an avid reader of reviews and usually don’t spend money on something until I read what others have written. Sometimes I discover new brands and sometimes new products. I love reviews both good and bad so long as it’s more than I liked it or the one word good or bad lol. Anyways I’m babbling.

Sorry to say but this tartar sauce has an overwhelming lemon taste and this is not normal. It was ridiculously priced high but my Mom wanted it so I bought it and we both disliked it. This item can’t be returned so it was a waste of money.

The Real Stuff
It’s expensive but it’s good. Other store bought OTS products leave an unpleasant aftertaste. This one doesn’t. If yer worth it, buy it

Just tastes like mustard
To be honestly idk what the rave reviews on here are about. this tarter sauce has a very strong mustard flavor, and idk maybe you like that, but i didn't. but hey maybe if you love mustard, this one will be right for you! i did however find a target sauce i Love in Suzie's organic tarter sauce, https://www.amazon.com/Suzies-Tartar-Sauce-Organic-Fl/dp/B07ZPPDV4J?ref_=ast_sto_dp it has a wonderful dill flavor and less of a overwhelming taste of mustard i personally recommend that one. but hey taste is subjective.

The only way you get Tartar Sauce this good, is if you make it from scratch. five stars!
