This pen is so stylish and cool looking, I can't help but write with it even though it is not the most comfortable writing instrument, it makes up for it's ultra thin profile with quality craftsmanship and an abundance of style! It's a fantastic conversation starter and people want to know what it is and where you got it, even though these have been around since the late 1980's. Pro-tip: To stand out in a crowd of writers and journalers in a cafe, start writing with this pen (or the pencil, which to me, is even cooler) in black and red. Someone WILL approach you and ask you about it. I suspect this item may be easily stolen from you because of how cool it looks-- so keep it with you!

I have a pen thing - I love cool pens... Maybe it's because in grammar school we had to use fountain pens and finding the perfect nib led to a life-long search? Anyway, when. friend gave me a Tombow pen for my birthday, I discovered this cool brand. This thin pen isn't for writing the great American novel (unless you have smaller hands than my mitts). But I keep mine in my calendar to jot short notes and appointments and it works perfectly. Plus, people always remark about how cool it is. Cool, great design, fun - a winner...

High quality pen, must have for any pen collectors out there.

I ordered this to make a pen/pencil set. It has a conversation factor in that everyone wants to look at it and write with it. Takes D1 inserts. This will dictate what writing quality you get, while the diameter and feel are good, but on the small size for fitting in your hand/fingers (at least for me).a It’s tombow, so the quality is there.
