U.S. Toy Light Bulb Pencil Sharpeners, (1776542)

Wouldn't count on all dozen coming in working order. They all have a tag/sku number on them, so kind of a pain to take off. We used them for decor, so didn't need the sharpener to work. Can't guarantee they work. Smaller than expected, but worked okay for the decor we needed.

My (5 yr old, only child) son is fascinated with bulbs, electricity, appliances (small & large). These fit the bill for letting him use his imagination and play. He doesn't realize yet they have a sharpener in them and he tells on himself whenever he thinks he's being remotely naughty, so they work perfect for play we intended. I put 4 stars because one arrived broke and he's lost a couple already after they hit our tile floor.

Shape is fun, but they're not too sturdy.

I purchased these as rewards for my class. Unfortunately, they're nice to look at but not nice to sharpen pencils with. The act of pushing a pencil into the sharpener causes the sharpener to break away from the 'light bulb'. Kind of useless. I didn't have high expectations, however I did expect to get one pencil sharpened and, sadly, that didn't happen.

Uh, no. Very poorly designed. The first one I tried the holes weren't lined up do it didn't work at all. The next one the sharpener just popped right out of it completely. When I finally got one that worked, I had to take the top off before it would finish sharpening. The shavings don't move down into the bulb so you have to empty it into the trash before finishing even 1 pencil. What's the point of even having the bulb on there? Also, we only got pink and blues, no greens. I really should have read the reviews first. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!

The kids loved these. Perfect for party gift bag.
