I first bought the Spark Cards 2, but knew that soon I would be adding to my repertoire by buying the first set. I am so glad I did. This set of cards is a high-quality resource which lends itself to so many different goals and skills. My students were thrilled that I got another set. I love the questions that accompany each sequence. The questions encourage students to think critically. In addition, various problem-solving scenarios are listed for each sequence. I love how the box is organized so neatly with dividers and color-coded cards. The pictures are interesting and there are lots of small details in each scene to talk about and expand on, depending on the skill/level of the student. These cards are a fantastic resource that I use often!

Love these cards! So versatile. The pictures lend itself to incorporating many language skills including picture interpretation, sequencing, building critical thinking, verbal expression, telling narratives, and sentence expansion among other goals. There are so many different ways to use these cards. The pictures are beautiful and my students have been enjoying them. Great product! Highly recommend purchasing them.

Very attractive pictures depicting six different scenes. The child's is encouraged to organize the sequence of events within each set of cards so they learn what comes first, second, third, and so on. The child with whom I worked liked it a lot.

These are good quality cards for getting students to talk more. I work with children with learning disabilities and they were excited by these cards. Anytime I can get kids to talk more. That's a good thing.

How cool is it that I can conduct professional speech therapy sessions without any formal education? These cards set it all out for me, perfectly planned lessons in whatever my child’s langue goals are. There is so much you can do with them, it’s insane! My kid’s therapist recommended them to me, and I am very grateful. I use them with all my kids, not only the ones in therapy, because they are versatile in terms of level. In fact, when friends come over, I hear them saying, “Let’s play Spark”, and explaining to their friends what the “game” is all about. 😂 PROS: -beautiful, clear, and culturally diverse illustrations -easy materials provided for dummy moms like me -for all language levels from delayed toddlers to smart preteens -strong sturdy cards and storage CONS: -these should have come out 15 years ago when my older ones were little. Good interactive tool for teaching writing

Very happy with these cards. Good quality and good illustrations. My husband has a brain trauma and I purchased these for him to advance his speech therapy. At this point in his recovery these cards were a little busy for him, but I will hold onto them when his recovery has advanced. I am sure he will do very well with these cards.
