Great tester, works very well.
The media could not be loaded. First impression:π The tester is bare PCB with exposed components and needs to be handled with care and stored in its box after use. The device is relatively small with everything you need packed onto the PCB. There are USB-A, USB-C and micro-USB sockets for testing.Packaging and delivery:π¦ β»οΈ The tester comes in a small plastic box for storage. It arrived quickly.Installation and use:π§ At first I struggled but after some fiddling I realised that it is really quite easy to use after all. Find out the maximum current delivery of the power supply being tested, plug it in and then turn the small adjustment screw to the right of the display so that the same reading shows on the display. Then press the Ok button (marked on the PCB). If the fan activates then the power supply is delivering the current you dialled in. If it does not, then not enough current is detected. Just dial back the adjustment until the fan starts and you then know what the supply can deliver.π§ To test triggered fast charging capability and adaptive voltage, press the small trigger button located on the bottom edge of the PCB for 2 seconds. Then press a number of times until all the LEDs are lit β to test everything. Then press the Ok button once. Leave it for 30 seconds and when the display changes back to βauroβ (meaning βautoβ), you get your result. The LEDs show what services car available for fast charge. The display will also show the voltage that is available.π§ Use the left hand βSETβ button to cycle between power (amps, not power factor) and volt readings. To test a cable, first test the supply and note the readings for volts and power and the available fast charge modes, then plug the cable inline and repeat the test, comparing the results for voltage drop.Pros:βοΈ Easy and quick to use once you get the hang of it.βοΈ Small size.Cons:β Instructions are all on line and are not great. If you persevere then the light dawns pretty quickly.β Bare PCB design. Just take care. Conclusion:β Easy to use once I got the hang of it and it has revolutionised my testing capability. Highly recommended.

Great Product.
This is a decently built load tester with plenty of flexibility to test different USB connections. The readout is clear and the unit simple to use.The storage box is strong enough to protect the tester when not in use too.

Takes some time to understand it
Thought it was time to upgrade my old 2 setting wire wound resistor based USB tester with a proper variable electronic load style one.As USB C is the norm nowadays, with all that power delivery stuff where devices can negotiate for 20+ volts and high currents, i thought i'd get this tester as it can trigger the PD thing and do a test of all available outputs. The hardest thing is locating the instructions on how to use it, then figuring out what the bad translation means. But thanks to another reviewer who posted which combo to press the PD trigger button in, i was able to test my 65 watt PD charger with this unit, and discover that it does provide the output it claims. The old skool calculator style led display is a bit hard to read, but i plug a oled screen USB measuring dongle between this load tester and the item i'm testing, and i can read the details much better on the oled screen of the measuring dongle as that's able to display multiple readings at once.

Really nice quality packaging transparent box & instruction for pdf.
Got a couple of these for testing & this takes the top-spot for quality packaging & storage. Meaning the electronic item won't gather dust because of its box...buy from this seller & I recommend the HD35.

Excellent tester
Just perfect. It's versatile because you can adjust just about everything. Voltage, Amps, PD etc. I have a lot of powerbanks, 5G mifi , macbook that charges from USB etc and I wanted to know what powerbanks and devices can do what. I've been testing various devices and i'm really happy with this. If you need to test what power you can pull from a USB powerbank or device or you need to see how long it will last .. this is perfect. Solid purchase. Fan works great, unit gets barely warm and the fan comes on and does it's thing.

A must have for USB experimenters
Considering how little this costs, it's very impressive. For anyone looking for effective low cost USB test & development tools, I recommend this device. Yes I know it really should be encased but to be honest it's so affordable, if it is physically damaged during use.. I'll simply buy another one.
