I bought a used n64 off eBay, I was having to try multiple times when slotting in a cartridge and using a lot more force than I remember to get anything to boot.After going at both the console slot and all the cartridge contacts with this kit, everythingnow boots up first try everytime with the cartridges only being gently slotted in like I remembered!The cartridge slot cleaner worked really well for me in particular, I've seen some say it didn't do anything for them but it worked well for me! For $30 my n64 boots up like brand new, I'd recommend the bundled slot and cartridge cleaner as if you're having similar issues with needing to put excessive pressure on the cartridges like I did.

I'm not going to lie, but i honestly thought it wasn't going to work, but after using it all my games would work right away i was so surprised although the bottle is small it does it's job

This is a very convenient and effective cleaning kit for the Nintendo 64 console and game cartridges that any retro gamer should consider purchasing.I have been cleaning my cartridge contacts with a q tip and isopropyl alcohol, which works great, but I was experiencing some issues with having to put certain cartridges in a very, very precise position in order to get them to boot.After using the console slot cleaning cartridge, I now have zero issues. It's amazing how much this thing pulled out. If anything, pick up the slot cleaning cartridge on it's own, but the kit is a great complete package to have as well.

First the cleaning cards are worth it they really helped clean the cartridges. Second the solution they give you isn’t worth the money you can find a much bigger bottle on amazon for much cheaper. Third I tried the n64 cartridge to clean the console and I don’t believe the cartridge does anything you are much better off taking the console apart and cleaning the contacts yourself.

Super easy to use and instructions on clearly explained.Made the carts shine like new ! The electronic contacts that is! Highly recommend for any N64 collector or owner . No questions just buy it if you own atleast more than 6 carts and want to keep them clean from the decades worth of grim . Game on!
