I was nervous to buy this from the start. Having a dummy battery I automatically think it’s going to over heat. Three times now I have completely forgot to shut my camera off after streaming. That means my camera stayed on for sometimes over 24 hours. Not one time has the camera or battery been even slightly warm nor were there any warning lights on the camera. If you’re looking to use this for long periods of time and you are skeptical. Don’t be. It’s a great product. I have been using it daily in my camera for about a month now with no issues at all. *if anything changes this review will be update*

Very honestly, there are a ton of these available. I bought the cheapest. Seems well made and works well.

Bought this for a Canon T1i to use it for webstreaming without having to wear out my 2 batteries. So far, it works as expected for at least 3 hours at a time. I haven't tried using it for longer than one of our typical 3 hour streams.

So far seems to work fine. longer cable option would be nice though. not much else to say its an AC adapter. using with power inverter so I can keep shooting photos for hours and hours timelapse all I want and stuff. especially for video timelapse sucks up battery fast

I bought this item in a hurry, as I'd started a time lapse series of a plant growing and realized that plugging my camera into my computer via the usb cable didn't provide power to the camera, and I needed an AC adapter. This product did the trick! It let me keep my camera running for 1 week while it took a photo every 30 minutes without issue.

I used it on my DSLR Cannon camera to turn it into a webcam. Works like a charm! Money well spent.
