My husband keeps a couple pair in his gym bag. I had a brain storm and bought a pair of these for my sister. She is fanatic about her lawn and yard but can't find a pair of gardening gloves that fit right and there to hot. These are perfect, no more blisters. Hey what ever works.

... so these are perfect. I started working out at home during the shelter in place, and the weights/bars I ordered needed a little more thickness and were a little rough on my hands. Normally I hate wearing workout gloves and don't normally at the gym (bars at my gym are pretty thick). I broke out a few of my old pairs of gloves and just didn't like the feel. Hot sweaty hands, finger cut offs pinch in the wrong spot, having to take them off and put them back on for different sets, all of that. So, I did some research and came across these. They seemed super random and weird but exactly what I needed. I ordered them and now I use them for all of my workouts. It's easy to slide my fingers in and out when switching between a 7 ft bar (plenty thick, no gloves needed) and a dumbbell bar. Padding on my hand is thick enough and protects my hand. I wasn't thrilled about the wrist wrap part at first because I stopped using wrist wraps a year ago, but I like the ones on these.If you hate gloves and don't use them for every exercise, but use them for some exercises, and hate taking them on and off AND hate the finger cut offs AND hate gross sweaty discolored hands... then get these. They don't have any of those problems.

I wished I could have a picture of these gloves when I first got them. Unfortunately, my phone decided to die and I could not save any of my pictures. I purchased these gloves last year for weight lifting WODs and I have been using them ever since I got them. The color and design looked good as well as the material. However, it has been less than a year and the stiching is coming apart on the wrist area of one of them. I might have been a little rough wit them and not realized it. Another thing, I realized is that I think these gloves are good for weight lifting and not for pull ups or any other work on the bar. I also noticed that he medium size gloves fit a little small in my medium size hands. I will try the larger size next time I order. So far these gloves have protected my hands from any more blisters, calluses and pain.

I hardly write reviews on all of the products I buy from Amazon but this one I just had to because of the excellent customer service John, the owner of Mava Sports provided me. I ordered the previous version of this glove and used it 4-5x a week in the gym for my resistance training. After 3 months of use, the palm area underneath the pointer and middle finger began to rip. I contacted John and he was more than happy to send me a new and improved pair (this one with the extra padding) to replace the ripped pair. After 4 days of use with the new gloves, I'm in love all over again with them because of the improved gel-like feel in the areas where my calluses were beginning to form and the wrist strap felt a lot more secure when I was lifting heavy weights. Another reason why I chose to stick with these gloves is because they're designed with an open concept so that your hands can breathe during your rigorous workouts. If you buy them, you will absolutely not regret them at all!!! Thanks again John.

My hands seem to be very prone to ripping and these gloves protected my hands really well during the times I used them. Recently, however, as I was taking them off after a workout, the wrist strap on the right glove came completely off (see the photos below.) I had only used these perhaps a dozen times during workouts that involved high volume pull-up or toes-to-bar movements, so I was surprised that they came apart so quickly.As I said, these gloves fit snug and protected my hands well, although they were a little thick for my taste and at times made it somewhat harder to grip the pull-up bar. I'm not sure if I happened to get a bad pair of gloves, but I did not expect the stitching on the wrist strap to come apart completely after only a few uses.Update 22-Jun-2016: Mava Sports was nice enough to send me a new pair of gloves and I've used them 3 or 4 times and haven't run into the same issue so far. I will post another update as I continue to put these through the paces.

Worst purchase ever! This should have a rating of zero stars but would not let me continue with my review.This product should not be used for anyone who does CrossFit or any gym activities. They should be taken off Amazon! I am a gym enthusiast who works out five days a week. I was in the market for a new pair of gloves and the information on this product lead me to believe these would be good to use at my gym. When using these, I noticed there wasn’t a good grip to them. Not listening to myself, I went to do a pull up on the bar which resulted in slipping off fracturing my elbow and my tailbone in three places.Let me be clear, I’ve done exercises like the one I was doing before many times over. I’ve competed in the recent CrossFit games and did a work out that involved pull ups so I know a thing or two about them. There is no grip on these so trying to do anything with them is a recipe for a disaster which I am currently experiencing. DO NOT BUY THEM!

This is the second time I buy this type of gloves, not because they broke but because I lost one of them so I needed a new pair. I try to go to the gym as frequently as possible to lift weights and these gloves don’t disappoint
