These are great. Here is the truth and why
Let's clear a few things up from a former road tech, that I've noticed in other reviews: These work better than uncoated springs. In my case, they make no noise, resonance or any type of noise. You will have to properly setup your guitar after install, so ya may as well grab a set of strings too. ;) Grounding: (eyes roll) is this really a real problem?? Anyway, if it is for you, or just because it doesnt hurt, I use a 6" wire wheel on my bench grinder and clean the 90 degree block end and eyelet of the coating. "Problem" solved. You may also use plumbers cloth aka Emery cloth or say 4/600 grit sandpaper. Your choice. I use the black set on all my Floyd's. I run 10-46, 10-52 and 11's with these. If you use jumbo strings, you may consider the red set. If you're attempting to play your guitar like a bass, the green set is most appropriate, as they have the strongest tension and are made if a heavier wire. If you're attempting to play 8 string stuff on a 6 string: buy an 8 string guitar. ;) So, please ignore these 2 and 1 star reviews. If your bridge pitches forward after installing these, adjust your tension in increments at the claw, retune and repeat until you level it out again without string buzz. Always reset your intonation! Or play out of tune at the octave, doesnt bother me either way. ;)

Big Difference
Silence! No more creaky door noises like the old Floyd Rose Original springs on my 1989 Carvin DC125C. Like other players I sanded the hoop and fold of one spring with 400 grit, and it easily connects the fork ground to the bridge. I tried it both ways, bridge ungrounded and then grounded. Absolutely no difference in pickup hum or noise on this guitar. I use high-output Carvin M22SD pickups. Great deal fast shipping for authentic Floyd Rose parts. I'm already replacing some on another guitar. Rock On!

Great springs
It reacts very smooth to the movements of the tremolo bridge, the whammy bar works great with it, great for dive bombs and harmonic bends, but the best of this springs is that it also improved the sound of the guitar.

Hit and miss
I’ve bought 2 sets of these. One set well over a year ago and has been great. Significantly reduced the noise in my Strat. Bought a second set in June of this year for another guitar, and after around 3 months one spring has started to creak horribly.

Fit in Jackson JS32 Licensed FR style floating bridge
Worked well to add more tension to a JS32 Jackson with floating bridge. From initial use it seems to be on par or better quality than the factory "Floyd Rose licensed" springs in the bridge. Tension seemed the same by feel alone; I did not measure mechanically in any way. I needed to add one spring for more tension and ended up using four springs total, two factory and two of these. String tension has remained consistent for two months after a short period breaking the new springs in. Would reccomend.

Relief from creaky springs!
My American Professional Strat had creaky springs that drove me crazy. I replaced three Fender springs with two black Floyd Rose Noiseless springs (3 came in the package, but I use 9 gauge strings so 2 springs was perfect) and it sounds soooo much better!

Wasnt strong enough.
While im sure they work for stock gauge strings, if you move up in string size, these werent strong enough for me and I had to order new heavy duty springs (x4 springs) to offset the tension of 11-56 strings.
