Remove blue film before installing

Description is incorrect - great product-exact fit
The description states this is 1 inch thick. I suspected that was incorrect. The actual thickness is 3/8”. I took the risk and bought this assuming it was 3/8” thick. I was right.

Perfect replacement!
My filter randomly fell out of my range hood when I was boiling water and the plastic handle melted. Ordered Saturday and arrived by Monday and was a perfect fit. Fit in Whirlpool W10320580D.
