I bought my last bottle of this Big Sexy Hair What A Tease spray here about six months ago and still have plenty left. It lasts a long time and is a good value here verses in stores or salons locally... A hair dresser recommended this product to me years ago and I'll probably never stop using it as long as the formula doesn't change. For reference, I'm from Afghanistan, I have thick hair and loads of it. When I wear it curly, layers pop up too high for my liking and without layers, my hair looks too flat on top. Enter What A Tease... I take my hair about half way higher than half way up and spritz about five sprays at the roots (from a few inches away) all the way around my head. Wait about one to two minutes and then run my hands through my hair. If you brush it through too soon or too late, it doesn't work. You want it to be almost dry before you tease it or run your fingers through it. This gives me more volume than dry shampoo or anything else I've tried. I do this after blow drying my roots forwards and it gives a really natural and sexy boost. Hair up or down, I don't actually tease it, it's almost too easy, and it provides really nice volume. Lastly, you never want to shake this product. After each use, I wipe off the nozzle before it dries (or before you use it the next time, you can wipe it with a wet paper towel or something). Otherwise, it does easily clog. I'd say the good definitely outweighs the bad when used correctly though! I can use it wet or dry, curly or straight. It works best, I think, when your hair is dry and if you're straightening it, then you want to use this last. Highly recommended. Smile. Hope this is helpful!

This speeds up getting ready for the day. I have very fine hair, so back combing never worked for me. But with this, I blow dry my hair, run my fingers through my hair so it stands up, spray hair with this, which dries instantly, and style my hair. Ready to go voila'. No hairspray needed and it holds the style all day! CON: it is a bit spendy, but with the fine spray, it should go a long way.

If you have trouble getting your hair to hold poof even after extensive teasing, this product is for you. I have very thick hair, and even with lots of layers, poof does not last for more than 10-15 min. I slightly tease my hair, spray a little bit of the 'backcomb in a bottle' at the base of the hair where i just teased, then keep teasing. sometimes i spray on a little more after i'm done teasing. don't spray before you tease at all, otherwise it'll be too stiff for you to tease. this product is VERY sticky. it is a pain to get out of your hair; took me 3 shampoos/conditions to get it out. And it doesn't smell that great. but it works! save a little bit of unteased hair to lay over the poof, otherwise it will look like a big mess. it is too strong/sticky to comb over and make it look neat after its all said and done. your hair will not be flexible after application of this product, it will be sticky and stiff. It makes your hair feel pretty nasty too. This product is great for special occasion poofs, but definitely not recommended for daily use. It would probably ruin your hair if u put it through that every day.

I've used this product for many years but the last one I bought and they used left dandruff looking specs it's all over my clothing and my hair. It was difficult to wipe it off so I just had to change my top. I'm so glad I took my glasses off before I used it but I wonder what's going on with this product. Did they change something? I've used it the way I have for years never had this problem. I just know now to have a towel wrapped around my shoulders and cover everything I don't want with the dandruff type flakes. It still works the same just a note to where either a towel or don't put your clothes on until after you've sprayed it on your hair to avoid looking like you have intense dandruff. I wonder if they change the formula. I still recommend it with caution.

This hairspray is extremely strong. It works great, but you have to be careful about how much you spray on. But this is really a good hairspray… thank you

I hated this product. I thought it would be easier and quicker than back combing my hair, as it is back comb in a bottle, what a mess. I read the directions. I sectioned my hair and I began to spray. What came out of this little bottle cannot be described. It made a mess of my hair. I had to go wash it and dry it again. I thought maybe I hadn't given this product a chance so I watched a video on it and tried it again for a second time. My hair was so goopy I couldn't do anything with it. The more I sectioned and sprayed the worse it got and before I knew it all my hair was sticking up like I had used an entire bottle of gel on my head. It felt greasy and sticky. So I washed my hair again and threw away this product. It doesn't do what it claims. The smell will set you back as well and it doesn't fade away. Not that I gave it a lot of time. You can't cause the rats nest this product causes if you had back combed and teased your hair until you couldn't any longer. It is awful and I hated it.

Has good hold but is still moveable!

Love this product. I rinse and dry after each use to prevent and clogs.

Recommended by my hairdresser and what a fabulous product. I am rubbish at back combing and have extremely fine hair. It looks great straight after I have styled it but then I walk downstairs and my hairs flat again. However, my hair stayed styled and volumised all evening when I used this product. If you can get past the textured feeling, that makes your hair feel like candy floss its an absolutely brillant product!

i received my product today.. i sprayed the smallest amount onto my mums hair and we were both amazed at how well it really works! i was a tad sceptical about whether or not it would actually make your hair stay up as though it had been backcombed.. but it really works! this product is amazing, very happy with the results.

I wasn't sure first, didn't like the kinda "crunchy" feeling in my hair once the product is dry. But daaaamn the volume :D ! Once you get trough the texture, this product is amazing. I'm on my 3rd bottle, absolutely no regrets !
