Dress pattern review
I started and completed a dress with this pattern in just a few days. I have constructed/sewn many dress patterns. I didn't like all the "fine tuning" instructions for the dress. This pattern is not too difficult and I would rate it an 8 on a scale of difficulty. The instructions for adjusting the size according to your bust, hips and waist were accurate but the sleeves were tricky and I had to adjust those. The main flaw was the instructions for altering the bustline princess seams since not enough instruction was given about adjusting this, however I lucked out and did not have to adjust the princess bustline seam for myself. Terms like "pin out" were unclear and there should have been more detail about how to adjust the princess seam and term definition. Also the instructions have you turn the material right side to make adjustments, which is fine, but the instructions directed to "baste" the hemline of the sleeve which I thought was unnecessary and created extra work since you had to remove the basting for the permanent stitching on the sleeve hemline. Still the dress came out stunning and I was quite pleased. I would rate this 4 out of 5 stars.

Great idea poor overall look, too much fabric at waist
I love this pattern in theory. To be able to customize your pattern easier should be available with all patterns because we all have very different body types. The main complaint I have with this pattern is it is extremely unflattering. I cut it out and did a mock up like it suggested. The actual fabric once cut does not sit right around the waist. The waist is dropped which was supposed to be a good thing as advertised on the pattern front. It is horrible. It makes your waist look larger than it is. Plus it puts the extra fabric and seam right under your bellybutton, why they would do this beats me. I spent tons of time making this dress and ended up scrapping the entire thing. Waisted fabric and the price of this pattern.

Lovely well designed dress
Assuming this isn't your first attempt to sew a dress or sleeves -- this is a very nice dress. I wanted the sleeves and the midi-length so I had to be careful re the pattern pieces. I realized my error in purchasing fabric for the shorter dress that included the sleeves. I ignored the pattern layout at that stage and place the pattern pieces on the fabric to that I was able to get the length and the sleeves out of that yardage. I am an experienced seamstress (taught tailoring as well as beginning sewing) and I would caution anyone new to sewing to be aware that you have to keep track of which size you are cutting out since they have several sizes to select from when cutting out the pattern piece (all on that same piece) -- can be confusing when cutting on the lines to be sure you don't cut along the wrong one -- but that is a manageable situation for those new at sewing.

Couldn’t follow this pattern
Maybe it’s me but I could not follow this pattern. I ended up recutting several pieces on extra fabric and still threw everything out.
