I highly recommend these castors! I thought I might have to spray paint the usual steel ones until I found these. They are superb, come individually wrapped,nicely packaged -everything about them is great and will hold a LOT of weight. A happy purchase and I highly recommend.

Work for what I wanted

I'm using these casters on a tool chest with top side tool box, both full of tools. The total weigh is approximately 200lbs and these casters work great. They lock very smoothly and hold the tool chest firmly in place. When unlocked the tool chest moves smoothly around my shop with very little effort. It is easy to change directions with the chest when moving it around that they track straight when moving the chest in a fixed directions. Locking the rollers is quick and easy with simple push of the lock with the toe of my shoe. Unlocking the casters does requires bending over and pull up on the lock arm. It would have been nice to be able to push the lock with my foot to unlock them but other than that I really like these casters.

I didn't really need 1000# wheels for my BBQ grill, but boy they work great! They roll so easy I have to be careful, it'll run away from ya! Excellent ball-bearing function and locking mechanism.ALSO - I forgot to "unlock" one of the wheels and rolled the grill back into the garage...it rolls so smooth I didn't even notice that one wheel was still locked. As a result, I flattened the bottom of that wheel! I wanted to buy a replacement wheel and after explaining MY error, asked if I could buy just a wheel...but they sent me one for free!! THAT is over and above great customer service, IMO!!

I got the 3" set to use with a table saw cart that I made. The area that it is stored gets some minor flooding (rented house with door being fix, just not done yet) and with all four locked, the saw doesn't move a bit. They unlock easily, too.Happy Note: The locking system also locks the rotation; so, nothing moves.I also have the 4" versions on my homemade server rack and that thing is 5'6" x 26" x 32", has two half depth servers, two battery backups, rack mounted router, switch, power distribution, large fan, full walls with insulation (for sound), and it moves like butter.

These casters are better than ones that I paid twice as much for. Put them on a large toolbox.

It is not a lot of offset, however when your tool cart is 400 pounds, the rocking back and forth on one corner is irritating to say the least. Used a handful of washers to shore up the offsets and it is level now.Total offset for drooping corner: 3/16th inch.The wear pattern on the wheels is becoming more even as they're used.The wheel locks function well enough to keep the cart from rolling on an uneven surface.Not bad for the price.

I've ordered 15 sets of these and absolutely love them! I originally ordered a couple of sets so that I could put a couple of freezers (filled to the brim by the way) on dollies so they could be moved. These freezers (completely full) easily moved around using just a couple of fingers. I was so impressed that I bought another 13 sets for other projects around the shop. Highly recommend!
