Skin Food Original Ultra-Rich Body Cream 2.5 Fluid Ounce, Plant Rich Hydrating Moisturizer with Pansy, Chamomile and Calendula

Great company and awesome products. I was looking to replace lotion from J&J that I no longer believe in (my opinion, the company is a fail with their practices & questionable ingredients). When I searched for organic lotion … voila! Weleda popped up. I have used Weleda products in the past and have been happy with the results, so I ordered three. This way I could try out which one would be suited for what. I will post this review on all three lotion/creams. Weleda Citrus Hydrating Body Lotion 6.8oz (label says Refreshing Body Lotion) – it’s amazing! It’s super light, a little goes a long way, has a wonderful citrus scent that also very light. I decided to keep this one at my desk. The pump dispenses the perfect amount and you only need a little bit. Lotion smooths on easily and absorbs into the skin nicely. This helps with all the hand washing and sanitizing, while using keyboard and shuffling paperwork. Even though it’s thin and light to apply, an hour later my skin still feels hydrated but no coating and does not feel greasy. A+ I would also say this would be a luscious after bathing application to wrap your skin with some heavenly loving. Weleda Nourishing Body Cream baby (2.5oz orange tube) - this cream is nice and greasy, smooths on with easy and lasts all day. I put it on my face and I love how it feels. In the evening it was still feeling soft and moisturized. Might not be the best on hands as it did track oils for a while. But this is how I like my facial cream, goes on super easy because it glides. Weleda Skin Food (green tube) – The skin food, is just that! It’s very stiff and very little is needed. Super yummy on the skin. I put it on the back of my hand when I first received package and it felt amazing. I put it on my face this morning, it takes some smoothing to get it everywhere. Even though it has oils, it is more solid and less gliding. But 4 hours later my skin feels just as soft and moisturized, normally it feels dry by now. I really like both the baby cream and this skin food … tomorrow I might put a little of each together and use on my face to get the benefits of the easy application of the baby cream as well as the nourishing from this one … it all boils down to personal preference and application site. Each has a light scent, which flies after a short amount of time. Even the body lotion I am using on my hands … no scent detected after a while. I have washed my hands recently and do not yet feel the need to reapply lotion. Loving each of these for specific reasons, all have organic ingredients and thus not putting questionable chemicals onto the largest organ of the body. Just one more thing as I continue to detox the unwanted elements that I have control over. I will be ordering more of these reviewed above … work, home, car etc.

Absolutely LOVE this cream! It has a light natural lavender scent and is very rich! I have extremely sensitive skin and have tried all sorts of products. Some of them sting even though they're marketed as suitable for sensitive skin. When I found this I was amazed! It goes on heavily but sinks in and never stings - quite the opposite. It's great for my arms and legs - sinks in but also leaves a protective layer & glow. It protects my skin superbly. I even use it on my face which is the most sensitive place; however you might not like the shine it causes. It is also comedogenic if used on your face. I honestly don't care about that because the protection I feel far outweighs that downside. It's not meant for your face anyway, so that'd probably be a non-issue for you!

Love this stuff. Wonderful results without a ton of harsh chemicals.

I've been pretty happy with this body cream, provided it hydrates my dry skin so well. Its moisturizing properties are a true win for me. However, the cream is very thick and can be difficult to spread and it would be great if it absorbed a bit faster. But all in all, it does a good job for my skin. I'd still recommend it!

If you have very dry skin, this stuff is a wonder. It's rich and emollient, and while my skin soaks it up like a sponge, it may be "too much" for skin that is not mature. It also has a lovely, fresh scent. I do miss the previous packaging -- I'm not a big fan of the new metal tube, but maybe I'll come to like it, especially if I can roll it up to squeeze out more product at the end.

The Weleda skin cream is perfect for keeping your skin protected in the winter. It’s nice to wake up with skin that still feels moisturized.

Nice, soft citrus scent that fades. Velvety texture that glides on. I use it on the back of my hands only and it’s perfect. I don’t like the feel on my palms - a bit too thick and shiny for that. But great for dry knuckles in winter! You only need a small amount so I can see this size lasting a long time.

I chose this because Weleda's products are always made of pure and healthy products, however I did not like the fact that this was extremely thick and greasy and took quite a while to be absorbed into my hands. I also did not care for the fragrance.

Chegou rápido, embalagem boa, da Amazon. Eu uso este creme da WELEDA há duas décadas, e todos comentam sobre a boa aparência de minha pele. A WELEDA é uma marca alemã antiga, cuja matéria prima é produzida segundo princípios antroposóficos, ou seja, os cremes de origem 100% vegetais são produzidas a partir de plantas sadias, orgânicas, em cultivos com outros segredos, que vale a pena conhecer (ver na página da WEB). Tudo que passamos na pele, ela absorve e joga na corrente sanguínea, eu não uso cremes que contenham petrolatos por este motivo. Recomendo este produto.

My face skin totally colapsed the passed winter and was super dry and just trubble. I've read about this product and the bennefits it provides. And my face is sooooo soft, looks amazing and I just love it so much. Will buy again ofc 🙏🥰💯

Very emollient and excellent for dry skin, I use it on my face on top of serums. Strong green & floral scent but pleasant, dissipates after application, which I don’t mind at all. Good value for money!

Weleda Skin Food ist kult. Ich bin verliebt in die Inhaltsstoffe und vor allem in die Wirkung. Nach vielen Jahren bin ich wieder zu ihr zurückgekehrt und glücklicherweise ist sie so gut wie ich sie in Erinnerung hatte, wenn nicht besser. Ich verwende sie als Nachtpflege für das Gesicht und nur selten am Tag, da sie extrem reichhaltig ist. Meine Haut fühlt sich fester, geschützt und zutiefst gepflegt an. Obwohl ich nicht zu Trockenheit neige, zieht sie problemlos ein und verursacht keine Unreinheiten. Allerdings: Es handelt sich um eine "vollgepackte", dichte Creme mit Lanolin (Wollwachs), Bienenwachs und Mandelöl, und ist daher SEHR dick. Nicht jede Gesichtshaut wird mit ihr klarkommen. Ich denke, dass es massiv hilft, wenn man seine Haut vor dem Auftragen entsprechend vorbereitet, nämlich: 1) gründliche Reinigung mit einem Waschprodukt seiner Wahl + warmem Wasser 2) leichte(r) Toner als Grundlage und eventuell Seren 3) etwas Wartezeit bis diese einziehen 4) dann die Skin Food Creme mit den Fingern erwärmen, bevor sie in die Haut einmassiert und eingeklopft wird. Es muss auch erwähnt werden, dass sie relativ stark parfürmiert ist. Ich finde den charakteristischen Duft toll und passend, aber reagiere auch nicht empfindlich auf Duftstoffe, also lieber aufpassen und vorher testen.
