Dont know why other reviewers are critical of this thing. It’s a cheap simple solution to the otherwise all but useless cupholder in the C7 Corvette. Yes it’s just plastic (just like the factory insert it replaces), not some fancy titanium or something, but it also doesn’t cost much. It takes seconds to install, collapses as designed to allow the cover to close and holds my water bottle without it flying out at every turn. Problem solved.

This was advertised as sturdy and the fix for containers falling over in the existing OEM cup holders. Check the fine print, only very skinny bottles will fit. Will not hold a standard soda can or a regular size water bottle. Even what it will hold puts a strain on the flimsy, ill fitting cup holder extensions. It loosely fits into the space it's built for. I would have expected a snug fit. That would compensate to a small degree how flimsy this thing is. Flop Stop is a big flop. It would be overpriced at $9.99 but that's irrelevant because it's junk.

First, If I were to design an extended cup holder it wouldn't be so flimsy and mad from mor sold materials. Secondly, the telescope feature does not work wery well as it does not stay up. I was given a nice GM approved Polar Corvette Coffee mug that is the standard size base doesn't fit. The device is clearly another cheap, Chinese made, overpriced piece of junk. What a let down. It works with water bottles and cans only. Someone should do better.

I all fairness it fit properly and looks good. A C7 has a shallow depth for bottles of water, Monsters, sodas and cans & they fall over. This has a retractable type plastic holder, weak and will collapse down for sure. Gave it 4 stars for looks and fitment, 3 for functional at best.

This holder will not hold coffee mugs, nothing bigger than a water bottle.

I normally don't write reviews, but had to on this one as one of the only flaws on the C7 are the shallow cup holders and this product keeps your drinks where they belong. There are three different sizes that you can collapse down all the way to shut the lid when not in use. I highly recommend this product if you've ever had a water bottle or coffee fall out when you hit the acceleration or a quick turn.

The OEM divider for the Corvette cupholder is worthless, so notwithstanding the very mixed reviews I thought I would give this product a try. Like many of the other reviewers, I found the product to be extremely flimsy and ultimately not effective. Lasted about 3–4 weeks before it would continually come unstuck and the interlocking cups would come apart. Like the concept, but the implementation via this design simply doesn’t work. Not worth the money

I liked that it actually holds in place, but I don't like that it telescopes and I don't like that it only holds containers up to 2.5 inches in dia. This is very limiting. I found a better solution and am not using this product anymore.
