This exactly what I needed to protect my daily devotional booklet. The fit is perfect. The design holds both the front and the back securely and folds over neatly to mark my place. I couldn't ask for more! Thank you!

Bought these to see for myself if they were as bad as many reviews. The cover works for a standard paperback (but do as they tell you and measure carefully as some paperbacks were smaller). Sliding the front cover into this item is easy. Getting the back cover into this thing is...well...almost defeats the purpose of the protective cover. Either the book cover bends and creases or the book spine cracks.There are two bands to hold the fold-over part (like belt loops on a belt). I don't own anything small enough to the first band (near the center of the slip on cover) so I gently removed it for some books.Most books I covered work with the second band only (the first band is in the way at the spine of the book, makes folding the book difficult and serves no purpose). The first (center) band is like having a belt loop behind the belt buckle.They protect the book. The book looks good on the shelf. Reading the book while protecting the cover is the function of this slip-on cover. It works....just not for everyone.

I purchased these slip covers in 2013 and they were much more sturdy and larger in size. I discovered on my recent order of Jan. 27th that the covers were not nearly as sturdy and much smaller in size. After trying to use 3 of them, I knew I could not keep them. I returned only 7 because the other three had been altered. I should not have had to pay for the return mailing cost as it was not my fault that these covers were not as they were when I purchased them previously. I should have received my full refund of 18.07. I have been a loyal Amazon customer for more than 10 years.

The was the only thing I could find to cover an odd-sized Hindi language Bible - NWT of the Christian Greek Scriptures. It worked well. I have lots of extras, as I only had to cover a couple of Bibles. It's been well-used and is still holding up. It's big for my book, but at least has kept the corners from being crushed.

I thought they were thick mil bags for paperbacks. But ill find some books in my library these will be good for. I wouldn't have ordered them but since I have 'em and how nice they can work, I'm gonna get some bigger ones for other larger hard backs. Quality product for what they are made for. These are cover protectors, not size adjustable bags.

These were almost perfect. There was a little misfit under the first strap but considering I have been looking for something like this for years, I am very happy with them. I wish every time I went to buy a paperback book they had always been available. I've already used the 10 I got.The price, however, sucks. Add in shipping and they cost over a dollar a cover. And while Brodart has a niche that it seems no one else fills, they take advantage of it. If the price was half what it is, or the shipping free, I'd buy a hundred. But if you buy two Brodart products from the same seller, the shipping and handling is doubled even though I am sure their shipping and handling costs are not. Often the S&H is close to what the product costs. I think they could sell a lot more if they weren't so greedy and make more money on more sales. Which doesn't mean I probably won't be buying more. But buying a lot less than I want.Edit: I've been thinking about these since I wrote my review. I wish whenever I ordered a book from amazon that I could click a button and, along with the book, would receive an archival grade book cover that was the right size - maybe for an additional $1 or so. Maybe $1.25.I don't see any place for suggestions. But it would be nice if amazon provided this and should be profitable for them.

Pretty good. Fits almost all 7 inch books. Could be slightly longer adjustment tab. All in all fairly happy with it.Revised 10/7/2014:Pretty good. That is if you don't use your books much. If you do these covers will tear at the corners. Otherwise ok.
